He has just the faintest little smile in that CMA one. :D
Love those Under The Covers shots, Soda, especially the second one - not just a faint little smile then!

I'm with ya there, Mrs F. Actually, Don was my first obsession and Glenn managed to steal me away a couple years ago. I do occasionally have a relapse As a matter of fact, I check out all of the eye candy! Every day! :smitten:
Enjoy this while you can. I don't want to harp on this but it's very difficult.

This is soooo nice I thought I'd move it over here too.
This is probably the best one I did from CMA:

I found some really great photos of Don from the Wildflower Festival in Texas in 2001.

This gentleman was at the festival and it sounds like he had a great time!!
very NICE!! 8)
Love the man in black--and in a black cowboy hat, too!
I also love your new av, Maleah!
Thanks! :D
From 60 Minutes. Unfortunately the quality of the closeups of Tim & Joe wasn't good enough to save.

Edit: As you can see I've redone this. There are others.
Didn't they all look good in that interview? Thanks, Fp.
Tf, those one from Linden are great, and thanks for the link.
FP, TF and DF - thanks for all the lovely Don eye candy over the last few days!
FP, your screencaps just get betterer and betterer  (now I know my grammar was enough to drive you crazy there ).
Here's some screenshots from Don's recent appearance on Jools Holland:

Cool Soda! Thank you! Don looks great! :D
Those are wonderful, Nancy! Don does look great! 8) Can't say if I have ever seen him in yellow before--he kinda matches the set, actually, because the entire stage has a golden yellow color to it.
Thanks for putting the video clip of this up on DHOL, too. I really enjoyed it! I'm not familiar with Jools but he seems to be a rather humourless character. He was nice enough, but he didn't laugh or even really react to any of Don's comments. :? Loved it when they watched the old clip of Witchy Woman. I was thinking, "That song is really dragging...." and then Don said "We play it faster now!"
I had to copy this over from Glenn's thread. Don's expression is just too cute here. Actually, they both look pretty great. 8)
"Get over it, get over it....."

No...I don't want to get over it. I have too much fun here.

It has been entirely too quiet on this thread while I have been gone.
FP has posted this lovely pic elsewhere, but I liked it so much I thought I would copy it over here too:

They are just TOO cute.
Whoa! I just spent - well, waaaaay too much time - looking at all 50+ pages of Don pics and I'm both exhilarated and exhausted. Holy crap, there are some wonderful pictures here! Since there are so many, I can't comment on all of them, but I have to say that I think I'm an anomaly here. I don't like his 'fro (say "no" to the 'fro, bro!) and I loooove him in his plaid shirts. I especially like him, though, in HFO. He is one fine-looking man. I love that cleft chin of his! And while I'm not a fan of his 70's facial hair, I do like him with a little stubble. I wish I could find a still from his performance with Steve Winwood at the All-star Garage Band performance that is on the Don Henley Online Live Video Treats page. http://www.donhenleyonline.com/downl...alivevideo.htm
I think he's at his finest there! The suit, the purple shirt, the scruff, the hair, the voice, the performance, it's the total package! His and Winwood's voice really complement each other beautifully. Does anyone have any stills from this performance?
And, thanks everyone for all of your pictures! They really made my day. Damn, he's smokin' hot!
Ahhh, Katherine, you speak my language. He really IS one fine-looking man. And I LOVE him on the All-Star Garage Band performance--he was unbelievably hot there. :smokin: He & Steve do complement each other beautifully. I would also love some stills from that performance... please, anyone? Hold on, indeed! 8)Quote:

OK, I know the request was just for stills from "I'm Comin'" but... I couldn't control myself! I had to get shots from all of Don's performances - he's just so cute!

Whoa! I hadn't seen any of this at all! Where have I been? :?
All I can say is he is lookin' HOT, SEXY, AND GORGEOUS! :fainting: :fainted:
And thanks so much!
Since I enjoyed checking out everyone else's pics, I thought I should contribute something to the cause:

Thank you SO much for all those fabulous pictures, Soda!
I couldn't resist adding two pics from the early 80's when I Can't Stand Still was being made. The photos accompanied an article that was in Musician magazine. It was a pretty good article. Don sounded so positive and upbeat in it. An interesting perspective as he was beginning his solo career and collaboration with Danny Kortchmar"

So young (well okay, he was 35, but still), so sweet, so cute! :inlove:
I thought the same thing when I first saw that picture!Quote:

Whoa...if you think the still is hot, check out what I just found on youtube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZDQMUZu4ms4
I love how in the beginning Don leads someone by the hand (I thought it was Max Weinberg, but he's shown later and doesn't have a tux on) to the drum set . Then he finally reappears upfront with his block of wood. Or is it a cow bell? Either way, as Soda said, He's working it."
Ooh, and another one with him on the drums.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lLbaB...eature=related
Damn! That truly was an all-star band! Henley, Sambora, Van Halen, Winwood, Etheridge, Adams, Mellencamp on the same freakin' stage? I think I've died and gone to heaven!
Those photos of Don are SMOKIN', Katherine - especially the robe one.
Thanks for finding these songs on YouTube. I believe you're right - that IS a cowbell Don is rockin' - which is even better. MORE COWBELL! ;)
I believe that is the then-president of VH1, who was the guy who thought of the benefit and put it all together.Quote:

LOL! I was going to put that in my post, but I didn't know who else would get it! I kept thinking of Will Ferrell while watching Don! "I gotta fever...and the only prescription is more cowbell!" :laugh:Quote:

And Katherine - the pics you posted are absolutely HS&G as well. As a matter of fact this one with Kootch may be my all time favorite pics of Don - I mean really - this is premium HS&G!!!!
