So now we know what was said. Thanks for that!

I can't believe the guys still don't know what Irving said to that guy.
John Hartmann was their first manager right? I'm surprise they didn't include him in the documentary. I would think they would include him.
Maybe Irving preferred to keep it mysterious. I can see why. The fact that he held for the band is rendered a little less heroic once you realize it was the suggestion of the guard and that he was promised he wouldn't be busted for it, lol. Still, he must be lauded for his powers of persuasion!
I wonder which Don Glenn was talking about that wasn't holding drugs. I'm guess Don H, but he would call him Don and Henley in the documentary. I don't remember if it was said in DonF's book or not. I need to check my book.
I'm pretty sure it was Don Henley who wasn't holding. While he certainly wasn't hesitant to indulge in drugs, he seemed to be more responsible about it in the sense that he wouldn't do drugs before shows, that kind of thing. Glenn also says Don was pissed off that the other guys had been foolish enough to bring drugs into the country, and that sounds more like Henley, too. lol
Well that explains why Glenn said Don was pissed off. I thought maybe he was pissed because they were being search. Oh wait. That does go with that. LOL
Thanks Soda.
Just a quick question. I'm sure that this has already been posted somewhere in the depths of this thread. but I've already read 100+ pages and I'm tired - haha.
Anyway, I have the doc recorded on my DVR from Showtime, but I am thinking about just buying the documentary from Itunes. What I am wondering is, is the concert DVD footage included in that? Also, I'm sure that the booklet that comes with the DVD set is worth it as well. Just wondering if those who bought the digital version were pleased? Maybe I should just buy both :)
The one I bought off iTunes includes the concert; it's tacked on at the end.
Thanks for the info! I'm off to download :)
