I'm sure I've posted this before, but I passed a sign for "Linden Homes" today.
I'm sure you'd love a Linden home Troub!!
JUST got home from the Grocery Store and there I saw a NEW brand of Iced Tea called TakeiTEAsy I giggled myself through the rest of the store. Sarah and I loaded up the groceries, picked up some prescriptions and headed home, just before we pulled in to the drive way, New Kid in Town came on the radio. I made an excuse of having to double check my prescriptions before we went in so I could sit and listen *G*
I must try some takiTEAsy! Great one Ticky
Hehe, TakeiTEAsy!! That's a good one. I'll have to check that out next time I go grocery shopping.
I also had a Take It Easy reminder today. For whatever reason, my cousin's 4 year old daughter kept telling everybody to "Take it easy." "Take it easy guys" she would say. I don't know why she was saying it but everytime I had to giggle to myself because I was hearing the song playing in my head.
Thanks for that tip, ticky. I am an avid tea drinker so you can bet that I'm going to be checking out my grocery store shelves for some TakeiTEAsy. Can't wait to try it!!!
I was following a lorry on the motorway today, which had SCHMIT in big black letters across the back! I couldn't help but smile.
Love it Troub!
Hey, when we were watching Spandau Ballet on Jonathan Ross the other night didn't someone make reference to bands reuniting when 'Hell Freezes Over?'
Spandau Ballet are starting on their 'Reformation' tour!
I Finally got a picture of it!! I bought some and as soon as I finish my latte, I'll try it *G*

I'll let ya know what I think...
Love it! Even if it tastes like cat wee, it's worth it for the packaging.
Well, TakeiTEAsy is .... eh.. okay, not great but not "cat wee" either. Like Lou said, the packaging alone makes it worth while. Otherwise, I wouldnt run out and purchase it. It's a lot like watered down Nestea with lemon. There's a diet Green Tea too that some may like but I dont care for Green Tea. At least the name is cool!
I gotta admit that I was in the coffee/tea isle at the grocery store yesterday and was searching for TakeitTEAsy but couldn't find it. I don't think I would've purchased it but I just wanted to see it.
yesterday I searched online a travelling bag, I donīt found the right one but I found this:

Woah, Koala - that IS the right one, isn't it! I think I'd have to take a chance and find a way to make it work.
I mentioned this in the AI thread, but it goes here, too.
Kris had on a plaid shirt last night. He reminded me of Don H! A bit!
I've been baby sitting my 4 year old neice since yesterday and this morning I was getting her ready for school and i had to giggle to myself when I saw the t-shirt that her mother packed for her to wear. It said "Life is Good." Close enough for me.
Sidenote: My neice has been learning the words to Hotel California. She knows the song from her dad playing it on his guitar hero. She told me it's one of her favorite songs and now it's routine for us to listen to it everytime we get into my car.
Nice to know family traditions are being passed on in such a responsible manner Peek!
I watched Have I Got News For You tonight, and one of the mock-headlines on the backdrop was "Life in the Farce Lane".
Now that is cool, Troub. I will point that out to Mike when we watch the download. He will have a fit. :hilarious:
My daughter is a member of a Harry Potter message board and one of their members has this for an avatar:

COOL!! FP!
Today I was in a toy store, there I found this game:

I bought it, then I have always what reminds me of the Eagles at the work and the kids have a new game. With it everybody is happy!
Got behind a Jeep today with "Life is Good" printed on the spare tire cover. Don't need to tell you where my mind went
Have y'all seen the "Life is Crap" line of souvenier Tshirts and stuff? A picture of the "life is good" guy on a boogy-board, just realizing there's an ocean liner behind him...lol. Or another where he is tipping over his coffee mug, and the lettering says, "Out of coffee? Life is crap." And so on.
Great game Koala! Sorry EV, They don't seem to do that line over here!
I saw a car registered SK08......yesterday. It didn't take much imagination to change it to SK0B!
It seems like the closer that Don's Oklahoma concerts get (which ,btw, are next weekend) things keep coming up that remind of them. I've heard at least one Don Henley/Eagles song every night at work this week. Sunday night at work I was treated with Hotel California, Peaceful Easy Feeling, and Boys of Summer and I heard Heart of the Matter last night. Also last night, this really nice couple (they are 2 of my favorite regulars) mentioned that they had recently been to the Downstream Casino. I told them about Don's concert there next Saturday and we talked about the casino and Don the whole 20 minutes that I was at that table. Next weekend needs to hurry up and get here because I'm ready for the real thing rather than the reminders of Don.
Jess, this is off topic, but I'm curious how your job works. I've never played blackjack live. As a dealer you're only at any given table for 20 minutes? How many tables do you rotate through in a night?
I've seen the new version of the movie Hairspray a few times but I never noticed till i watched it again yesterday that they sing a song on there called New Girl In Town.
I've been looking into buying a snare drum recently, and today I came across a promotional ad by one of my favorite session drummers: Kenny Aronoff. In this video he is tuning the snare and he says the sound is very similar to that of the "old" Eagles sound. That is very tempting... except for the price :faint:

Yes--I bought them, as hubby was shaking his head at me. Kids have eaten half of them already tho!
heheh WIllie, you just need some TakeiTEAsy Iced tea to go with those!
Yes, I've been to that restaurant chain! Disappointing fajitas but good margaritas. GREAT name. ;)
