Hey - who cares what all this means ... Carole, the important thing is that you got to hang out for an afternoon with your good buddy, Joe. This is pretty special - after all, he's a pretty busy guy!

Gotta love those warm and fuzzy dreams! Loving the fact that Rolf Harris appeared, too. Hilarious.
The warm and fuzzy dreams are the best!
I am going to try to explain this dream as best as I can, but it was kinda all over the place and I was actually dreaming that I was dreaming it at one point. :headscratch:
It started with me watching some dvds in my living room and one was of a solo Glenn show back in the 80s. Timothy was backing him on bass and the way I knew it was the 80s was because of Timothy's hair. So I got right online and went here to ask if anyone thought that maybe Timothy would be with Glenn for the Niagara Falls shows since he isn't doing anything that we know of.
Flash forward a couple of days and I'm back on the Border informing everyone that I am indeed heading to Niagara Falls since we found out that Timothy would be with Glenn in his backup band.
Then we're all sitting in a restaurant, including Ticky, PM, Brooke, EL, Koala & Troub. (Don't ask how I knew all of you since several of you I've never seen) FP is making a poster for the concert about how far she's come to go to these concerts. Everyone's talking about the upcoming trip with Glenn to get his hair cut. :hilarious: Ann was trying to figure out what she was going to say to him and I was wondering if Timothy was going to get his hair cut also and what I would do if he is there also, especially since I don't want him to cut his hair. (Told you it was a very strange dream!)
An RV pulls up and we all jump up to go get on it. It has 2 long seats lining each side of the RV with a frig and a tv screen in the back of it. In the middle of one of the seats is Glenn & Cindy. Only when we all sit down opposite Glenn, he introduces Cindy as his wife, Miranda. We all kinda looked at each other because we knew it was Cindy but Glenn was calling her Miranda. I leaned over to Nancy and whispered to her, asking why would Glenn call her that, could it be a nickname?
Then we are in an old fashion barber shop watching Glenn get his hair cut and chit chatting with him like we've all known him forever. Said he was so glad when he read on the board that so many of us were coming there to see his solo shows. He laughed and said that none of us knew this, but that he had joined the board years ago and checked it several times a week to see what we were all saying and they changed things up according to what we wanted. He dared us to guess what user name was his. No one knew and he told us he wasn't telling but now we all knew that he read the board so we better behave! :hilarious: Cindy/Miranda walks in and tells us it's time to go.
We all get back in the RV and Glenn tells the driver that he wants to go by the falls on the way and show us a few sites but that we need to make a stop on the way. A few blocks down the street, the RV stops at a souvenir shop and Timothy is standing in front of it with all kinds of the stupid little souvenirs that the shops sell like banners, scarves, buttons, etc. He was all decked out in a Niagara Falls shirt and hat and had buttons pinned to his shirt and was looking rather silly & touristy. When I saw him, I grabbed Lou's knee and started squeezing it. She patted me on the arm and told me to stay calm and that this was my chance to finally meet him. Timothy got on the RV and shook Glenn's hand and started handing out all the goodies to all of us and asking everyone their names. When he got to me, I could barely speak and when I told him my name, he told me he had been waiting to meet his biggest fan and that he had something special for me along with the other goodies but I would have to wait till after the show for it because he would be using it during the show. Said that should make up for leaving me standing there in Chicago waiting for him to come back to sign something for me after he told me he would. He said he was very sorry but they hadn't told him he had to leave so soon after the show or he would have signed it before leaving the building.
We pulled up outside the casino and we all went in thru the front doors (I've been there before and I remember all the little shops etc in the corridor). We went into the room Glenn would be performing in and they showed us to our seats, the whole front row, told us to enjoy ourselves and they'd see us in a bit.
This is where the dream inside the dream comes in, I remember thinking wait till I put this in the dream thread on the board. No one will believe this silly dream. And that's all I remember. No concert, no surprise...whatever it was from Timothy. :-(
I'm pretty sure there was actually a bit more to it but I can't remember what it was right now. If it comes to me, I'll come back.
Hey, sounds like a great dream to me! Too bad it wasn't longer!
LOL, Willie! I laughed right out loud when I read about "Miranda"! Now if only your dream would become reality! :hilarious: We can dream too!
OMG - that is too funny, Willie.
How clever of Dream-Timothy to know you're his biggest fan
I cracked up when I read the part about Glenn checking the board... :hilarious:
That was so cool; 'Miranda' instead of Cindy is very Shakespearean if I may say so. Imagine Glenn reading this board. As for me making a poster I have no artistic talent at all; perhaps I should get a small Australian flag to wave!
I loved that dream, Willie! The Miranda part had me cracking up, too.
Oh, and you know I'd do my best to keep you calm if that happened in real life.
What a cool dream!
Here's something weird - after seeing Stevie in Denver, I had a dream about the Eagles!
This is the part I can remember:
I am swimming in a crowded public pool in the middle of the day - lots of families splashing around - and I see a photo floating on the water. I grab it and take a look. The photo is of the Eagles playing “James Dean” in 1973 (somehow I know the song they are playing in the photo - never mind that in real life, that song wasn't even released in 1973), but it has been doctored to include Felder. “That’s a fake!” I say to the people around me. I rip it up but keep the pieces clutched in my hand.
Then Felder (as he currently looks) swims up. He is in the pool, yet fully clothed in golf gear. I don't think this is odd in the dream, lol. “Check out this fake photo of you with the Eagles!” I exclaim to him. When I open my hand to show it to him, the pieces are back together like I’d never ripped it. Even in my dream, I found this strange, but decide not to say anything about it to Felder. He looks at the photo, laughs, and then says “Maybe I could show up at a show and come onstage as a surprise guest... The fans would love it…”
I say “Dude, I think for that to happen, your appearance would have to be a surprise to the band!" I pause and think perhaps I sounded harsh, so I add, "I mean, of course you could ask them.... I just don’t think the guys would be into that idea.”
He nods and says, “You’re right.” The he says, “You know, I got married!”
“Congratulations,” I say and smile. He swims away.
Then I see Glenn on the other side of the pool in a lawn chair watching a TV. He also is his current age and fully clothed in golf gear. He looks up and says "Nancy, come here!"
I swim over to his side and hang on to the ledge near where he's sitting, but I don't get out of the pool. He says, "I'm watching the Texas Aggies (which he pronounces "Eggies") and I remember you saying you went to that school."
"Glenn, you know very well that it's pronounced 'Aggies.' You've seen them play before," I say, and then he laughs and I see he was just trying to tease me. "Anyway, yeah, I went there and I hope they win, but I'm not really into watching sports so I'll talk to you later."
"OK," Glenn says and turns his attention back to the TV as I swim off.
I get out of the pool and I see a tent with a lot of long white picnic tables. I go up to one and see a photo album laying open. Curious, I look at it. It contains clippings about all the celebrities that have died of drug overdoses, alcoholism, that kind of thing. “Wow, there’s so many!” I say. I hear Stevie in the distance singing "All the same, all the same, all the same..." (no idea where her voice is coming from here lol) and think "Wow, that's appropriate."
Suddenly Glenn appears by the table. “That’s mine.”
“Why would you make a book like this? It’s like a book of death!” I exclaim.
Using the Socratic method, lol, Glenn asks, “Well, why do you think I made it?”
“Was it to remind you that you shouldn’t do drugs because it might kill you?” I ask.
He nods somberly.
"Well, then, I guess it is a good idea," I reply. "I don't want you to die."
Suddenly, I burst into tears and Glenn hugs me. "Are you OK?" He asks after a moment.
"Yes," I sniffle.
"Good." He grins. "See ya later!" He walks off.
"Bye!" I call after him.
Stevie Nicks appears in her flowing black dress. "That was intense," she says to me.
That's all I can remember, except that even as I woke up, I was thinking "That was intense!"
Wow. That dream should be analyzed. Seriously.
The tearing of the picture . . .
The golf clothes at a pool . . . .
The college reference, the book of death and busting out crying . . .
And Stevie in a black flowing dress . . . .
I wonder what it all means.
Probably nothing. If you look back through this thread you'll see I have a history of nonsensical dreams!
That was so sweet! Your dreams are always so entertaining, Soda. Love them!
For me - this is one of the most incredulous parts ... Soda reprimands Glenn and then tells him that she is not at all interested in what he's doing and then "just turns her pretty head and walks away".Quote:

I had another weird dream about the Eagles and kind of involving Stevie Nicks (surprise, surprise). This one wasn't very long, though. In it, the Eagles were the A-team (something which I actually made a video for last year as a joke!)
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aHSbIVRpA2w[/ame]
Anyway, in my dream, I was on the A-Team too as the "special guest" that helps them out. I don't remember what our mission was or anything, but I remember we had all successfully evaded the bad guys who were looking for us in the building and were about to attempt to sneak out through the public exit, which was being guarded.
Before we go around the corner to head towards the exit, Glenn, Don, Joe, and Tim plant some explosives around the corridor in case the bad guys come this way. Then, they all reach in their pockets, and each one pulls out a necklace with a crescent moon pendant. I recognize them as the pendants Stevie Nicks wears and also gives to her friends (see example here). "Stevie gave you guys those?" I ask in awe.
"Yes," Don says, then dumps it on the ground. The other guys follow suit and turn to go.
"Wait.. you're not just going to leave these here?" I gasp.
"Yes," Don says again. His voice has no emotion in it.
I look at the other guys. "You too? You're all just going to leave these here?"
They all nod somberly, then turn to leave.
Screw that! These are precious! I think, and I grab all the necklaces off the ground and stuff them into my back pocket when the guys aren't looking. I notice as I do that each one has their names engraved on it, and I am even more disgusted that they would just leave them.
They apparently don't notice, and we all sneak towards the exit, I see a metal detector. Maybe that's why they were going to ditch the necklaces! They didn't want to set off the metal detector and draw attention to themselves! Now I feel guilty for thinking ill of them, but I can't bear to get rid of the necklaces either. We get closer and closer to the exit, and I get more and more nervous.
Finally, I decide I'll toss all but one of the necklaces when they're not looking, and I'll wear the one I keep under my shirt. I figure, if I set off the machine, it'll look innocent to just have one but suspicious to have four. I consider keeping the one with "Glenn" because he's my favorite, but then I remember Stevie talking about the moment she gave Don his pendant and how much it meant to her. I decide to keep the "Don" one for Stevie's sake. (Yeah, I know that makes no sense, but this is "dream logic"). Quietly, I drop the other three to the ground. It pains me to do it but at least I have the one. Then a terrifying thought occurs to me - what if the bad guys have warned security to be on the lookout for people wearing Stevie Nicks crescent moon pendants? Then I could get caught, and everyone else with me!
I decide it's worth the risk and I slip on the necklace. Nobody notices, but I make sure to go through the metal detector last so the other guys can escape if I set it off. They get through without incident and stop to wait for me to come through.
Suddenly I realize that if I set the metal detector off, even if it looks innocent to the security guard, all the guys will know I grabbed the necklace and they'll be upset with me. What to do??? "You guys go ahead - I'll catch up.." I say. "Go on... don't wait for me..." but they don't move. Oh no... I think as I step towards the metal detector wearing the crescent moon. Hope they forgive me...
I woke up before I went through the metal detector.

Not exactly my most entertaining dream but hey, it had our guys in it. What more does one need? ;)
Had an Eagley dream last night but for the life of me, I don't remember it. Only thing I remember is I was looking thru sheet music and taking picture of the sheets for Take It Easy and Hotel California. :headscratch: WTH?
I had another dream last night starring Timothy and his wife Jean! I don't know if I'll remember all of it but I hope I get most of it.
In my dream, my mother and I are on a big cargo plane and the only other people on it are Tim and Jean. Jean is wearing a coat that looks just like my winter coat. They seem nice, so I approach and say to Jean, "I have a coat just like that! Of course, you look much nicer in it!" and she smiles and says "Sit down!" So I do and we get to talking - just chatting. I don't remember all of it, but I remember Tim saying that he liked eating at the kitchen table as opposed to the dining room table, and that he didn't like "showing off."
The plane lands and I figure that's it, but they invite us to eat dinner with them. Tim goes ahead to get a car for us, and Jean tells me, "You know, we're really not married. Tim is old-fashioned so he says we're married but I don't believe in marriage."
"Oh!" I say, surprised. "Well... it seems whatever you guys are doing is working..."
"He has my space and I have mine. We're really happy," Jean replies.
"I can understand that," I say. "I like to have my own space, too."
Tim comes back towards us. "Don't tell him I told you we weren't really married!" she warns me.
"No problem!" I say. "But should I still call you Mrs. Schmit?"
"Just call me Jean," she says.
Suddenly Jean, I, and my parents (even dad) are sitting at a big kitchen table drinking tea. We're at the Schmit household, apparently. Everything is very art-deco. "Your place is really nice," I say.
"Thanks," Jean says.
Tim is sitting cross-legged on the floor strumming an acoustic guitar and singing "Secular Praise" softly. "Isn't he going to have dinner with us?" I ask Jean.
"He'll join us after he finishes that song," Jean answers, "or he'll eat on the floor."
Tim looks up at that and then puts down his guitar and comes to the table.
The doorbell rings. "I invited my good friend Jennifer Aniston and her husband to come, too," Jean tells me. "That's them now."
"Oh my gosh! I love Friends!" I say.
"Well, I'll introduce you to them," Jean says.
"You are the coolest!" I gush.
Jennifer Aniston comes in and she's with John Mayer! I'm shocked. "Woah, are they MARRIED? I didn't even know they were back together!"
Then I woke up! Not much meat to the dream, but it left a smile on my face.
OK, can I tell you I LOL at "or he'll just eat on the floor" :hilarious:
This is only peripherally an Eagles dream, but I had a dream last night that I was at some public place (restaurant, conference, something like that) and the person I was with mentioned that the guy at the next table was Tom Nixon, who works with Glenn. I don't even know what Tom looks like, but for some reason, I looked over and knew it was him. I nodded and said hello and he smiled and returned the greeting. The rest of my dream proceeded on to other non-Eagle things that I don't remember. Very strange.
Even peripherally Eagles dreams are worth recording!
Nancy, I love reading your dreams, they are so imaginitive! And really true to life as well, like Timothy and Jeans house being 'art deco, and Timothy singing one of his songs.....
I had a rather nice Glenn  dtream recently, but I don't think it would be a good idea to post it here  :censored:
I did thank you EK. It was more the conversation than what actually happened!
So Soda - have you had a chance to visit all of the Eagles' homes now (in your dreams)!!!
And GA your dream kinda reminds me of one of the very few dreams that I ever remember having of any of the guys. I hardly ever remember dreams, but I remember that one because it was so hot - at least up until the end. I posted it here at the time, but since it is pretty short, I'll repost it again. Like yours, the actual conversation that took place in the dream was not G-rated. But here it is ...
And Windeagle - we have some pictures of Tom Nixon posted on the board. I'll try to find them and post them again so you can see who you were talking too. :thumbsup:Quote:
All I remember is that I was in Glenn's house and it looked just like it did in the "hooker" book. Glenn was also dressed exactly the same way that he was in the book. Now, I don't know how I know this since there are no such details in the book, but I just know it. Glenn and I were talking about our lives, and he poured us both a glass of wine. I was sitting on a bar stool sipping my wine, and he was standing close to me and leaning against the bar. I think things were about to get 'interesting', when out of nowhere several members of my family appear walking into the room. They are all psyched to play a game of charades. Call me silly, but I told them I didn't want to play.
Then, I woke up. :ack: :eyebrow:
The other night I had a dream that I requested an interview with Timothy for my book that I'm writing. It's a fictional story that takes place from 1970-75. Kind of a rock n' roll murder type of story. My research on the 70's bands led me here to this website. Anyway, Timothy says I can interview him & invites me to come out to his home studio in LA. I get on a plane & fly out there & he sent a car for me at the airport. (OMG) I get to his home & there he is to greet me. He's wearing jeans & a purple T shirt. Nobody else is there, just us.
I tell him about the story & my questions involve what things were like at the concerts back then, the venues, how the touring affected the personal relationships of the band & things like that. I wasn't looking for any names or anything,, because the story is not a tell-all or anything, however some of the characters are "loosely" based on people or a combination of people.
I had decided a few weeks ago to write a character loosely based on Timothy into the book. He starts telling me about some stuff & we end up watching some videos of him with Poco, while he says he hadn't seen any of this stuff in years! He's telling me some good stories about some times in NYC, which is where the story takes place & he's having a lot of fun remembering this time.
He has a lunch set up for us on an outside deck, with some wine & I don't remember the food, but we were eating & suddenly someone appears at his door, & wow, it's Graham Nash, standing there. He just popped by. So they go inside & start working on some song they are writing together. I'm just like sitting there with my mouth hanging open.( I pray that I'm not drooling.) Then Graham leaves & we continue the interview out at the pool.
By this time, I'm thinking, how did I ever get this lucky? Suddenly Timothy dives into the pool, & I don't see where he is. He disappears for a few minutes so I'm like in a panic & he appears with a scuba mask on & is laughing. Then I suddenly wake up........:fear:
I love that dream, Topkat! LOVE Graham Nash!
Since the last song playing in the car before turning it off was 'Allnighter' and then I finished reading the old thread I found 'Simply the Best', you'd think this would be a really good dream and not something that can be written here. NOT! I was at an outdoor place, like a big campground, and as dreams will be, a lot of made no sense. There were a lot of people there and we were there for days. It was unplanned, and we had no choice, but yet no one was upset or anxious over it. We had food, we had very public showers that were clean. Food, soap, shampoo, etc all provided. I had heard Glenn Frey was there, but hadn't seen him. After about three days of this, I was sitting on the top of a picnic table, my feet up on the table, knees bent and my arms wrapped around my legs, my chin on a knee. He walks up and sits on a picnic table opposite me and very close. He smiles and says, "I hear you're a real fan." I grin and say "Oh yeah." He asked where I was from and I look down and horror of horrors!! Three days there and women weren't given razors! It blew my mind, I FINALLY meet him and there's a forest on my legs and all I have are shorts to wear. I couldn't think. I tried to hide it and I apologized. He tried to tell me it was OK and understandable. Under the circumstances, no could expect anything any different. I was too upset to believe him. I was so upset I woke up, but I swear that as I woke up I looked down and saw a gray hair. I'm still not happy.
LOL! That sounds exactly like the kind of dream I would have, sister!
It does sound sort of like a "Soda dream". I just love the part though when Glenn tells you that no one would expect anything different. What a sweet thing for him to say!
Yep - those are some weird dreams, ladies!
I've said it before and I'll say it again...I don't know what you ladies are eating (or smoking) before bed -- BUT I WANT SOME SO I CAN DREAM LIKE THAT TOO!
Great dreams! I'ts always fun to read them!
