The Eagles did it on the LROOE tour. I saw it done in 2010.

Because I'm in Florida this week and out and about, I've heard more Eagles songs than I have in a long time. Not that I'm complaining. ;)
I've heard Turn To Stone twice, Take It Easy once, Walk Away once, and Already Gone once.
Heard Already Gone at dinner last night and The Long Run just as I was parking my car at work this morning.
I've had some good luck the past few days this week finding Eagles songs on the radio! Today I flipped over to a local station and HC was playing (actually started with it on CD this morning and finished as I was leaving the parking lot at school)...was very interesting because this particular station is a stereo simulcast of an AM station, so it sounded nice and retro
If I posted every time I heard an Eagles song on the radio around here, I wouldn't get much done! Evidently the dj's in my area all love the Eagles cause I hear several songs every day! I'm a lucky girl!
Picture this, I was in dentist's office today getting a cast done of a tooth. I had my mouth full of putty and Lyin' Eyes comes on. I'm humming and tapping as the dentist holds my teeth. It was a very intresting experience :hilarious:
sort of like "a spoonful of sugar makes the medicine go down"...Eagles songs make the dentist chair easier!!!
I went to Wegmans (a grocery store) to get things for tomorrow's dinner and decided to have dinner off the buffet there since they have Indian food. As I sat and ate, I heard Last Worthless Evening. Made me smile, remembering the concert a few weeks ago.
I just went to the liquor store to buy my pink champagne...and what started playing?..The Best of My Love...
As I was typing my FB status this morning about my excitement about tonight, Hotel California started playing on the radio. Those Eagles have the best timing sometimes!
This morning Peaceful Easy Feeling came on the radio as I was driving to work. I had to drive slow so I could hear it all! Great way to start the day!
This morning coming to work in the car-Peaceful Easy Feeling
This afternoon-Take It Easy and Tequila Sunrise
It's been a good day!
New Kid In Town was playing in the shop today!
The accoustic version of Hotel California was playing tonight as I was heading to eat out with my parents. That is my favourite version of that song. I could not stop dancing to it. LOL.
I was in a Valu Home Center today...kind of like a smaller version of a Home Depot...and what came on?...One Of These Nights!!!....walked around the store singing and grinning like a fool...hope nobody noticed!!!
OHHHH amazing song to be singing and dancing. LOL I love those times too. I smile like a fool when they come too. LOL.
How about 2 things both in dreams.
1. I dreamed I was in Social studies class when I was in high school. The teacher randomly takes out a guitar, as do I. we both proceed to jump into Saturday night. With back up from the class.
2. And.....Hearing I wish You Peace, of all songs on a jukebox.
Mick
I heard Busy Being Fabulous at the grocery store the other night and did a few little line-dance steps in the dairy aisle.
LOL it was last Tuesday (in Specs) when I heard Dirty Laundry. I was just talking to my dad how they often play Don Henley stuff and there it was. LOL I was just smiling and singing along with it.
I went into Walgreens on Times Square on Sunday evening to get some painkillers for Laura. Just as I entered 'Heartache Tonight' started playing on the PA system, and it was NOT interrupted by announcements!!!
I'm sure more than one person wondered what a woman was doing taking nearly 4 mins to pick up a box of ibuprofen, ans why she had a silly grin on her face!
Then on the flight home last night 'OOTN' was one of the music albums offered on the inflight entertainment.
Was out getting more groceries when Sunset Grill came on...and yes, I had to sing along!! :D
Went to the grocery store with my mom today... Those Shoes came on the radio right as we were leaving, and ended right as we were pulling in the driveway! Perfect timing. The DJ also mentioned how they were coming to Summerfest, which resulted in squealing from me. :D
I have a radio station called cool oldies on at work and in my car. Every time they do an advertisement for the station they play a chord at the very beginning and it reminds me of No More Walks In The Wood and I think they are going to play that song, but they don't. It's the advertisement.
last night while at the bar, i was sitting there with my friends and i heard you belong to the city come out of the jukebox. i was super excited about. then about fifteen minutes later the heat is on started to play. last night was a total success.
Exactly where is this bar JCM?
I don't know if this is considered unexpectedly or not, but in the last 3 days, the radio here has played Hotel California, The Boys of Summer, and All She Wants To Do Is Dance. I don't remember hearing the Eagles (or even Don) on the radio in a long time, but you know how when you really get into a band then suddenly you start noticing them everywhere! lol
wegmans
boys of summer checking out last night at 930 so i called zelda lol:guitar:
I listen to a Classic Rock station and they usually play 4/5 Eagle songs a day. I love it. My students know I my passion for The Eagles. My screen saver in my classroom is a beautiful photo of Timothy B. I actually think I found it on this forum.
Last night while I was shopping in Walmart I heard Boys of Summer. That certainly enhanced my shopping experience.
i was at my desk today at work, pretty blue, and it was lunch time, and the NYC station i listen to plays blocks of artists sent in by listeners. I was ready to head out, but it was an Eagles block!
1 NEW KID IN TOWN
2. WITCHY WOMAN
3. HOTEL CALIF
the last song was "Get Over It". turned me around, big smiles!
