This photo appears in the Allnighter Tourbook so it's 1984/1985. I never thought about it coming from a Letterman rehearsal, but that's certainly very possible!

I noticed during the band intros in Philadelphia Glenn sometimes had his eyes closed while he was SPEAKING as opposed to singing. I don't know why.

I love this!! MMM what a fox. He was feeling the moment!!! LOL

He was doing the eyes-closed and face-scrunched during intros in Milwaukee, too. Such intensity--or perhaps the sweat was falling down his face and blinding him! ;) My cousin kept joking she felt bad Glenn was missing the show, he had his eyes closed so often during it. Must be his way of pushing through things, vocally, speaking and singing.

What do I love more, the loosened tie, or the devil-may-care hair? Think it's both--his late 70s/1980 look is beginning to grow on me.
