Oh man - this is a close round. I love Ordinary Average Guy. It is so clever. Anyway, I may not be around again when the voting closes, but I hope it is saved this round. Girl, I can't help you. That's my FAVORITE! Such a gorgeous, moving song - poignant lyrics, an achingly vulnerable vocal that resonates deep inside and makes you ache too, for all the times you buckled under the pain... beautiful melody and harmony... I adore it.

Ya know, Soda, I would agree with you. I love the song... except.. at least on the version *I* have.. he blows a raspberry at the end.. just kind of kills it for me.

Ok, so I listened and RE-listened to Help me through the night and ok.. I like it.. a lot.. (So I might take it in cool-edit and remove the BBBBBTTTTTT... at the end...). It's one of those songs I'd really like to see the Eagles revisit. Joe's voice has changed, they all have, their harmony is richer now if anything! SO.. you win Soda, Im NOT voting Help Me off.. not yet..

Wow - it always amazes me in these Survivor games what varied tastes even a small group of fans like us have. For example, Ordinary Average Guy and A Life of Illusion are in my top five list of favorite Joe songs. I won't be around when the voting closes tonight, but I'm betting that The Bomber will be bombed. I agree that its time has come. From here on out, it's gonna be getting really hard because all of the songs left are just so good. Therefore, with great regret, but consistent with my general preference for rockers over ballads ...
