Wow, you have quite an eye for detail! I totally missed that!
Yes, I still wear the pajamas I got there. A real bargain!

The only time I preordered anything it was from Amazon and It was several days after the release date that I got it.
Their shipping prices are a bit high to suit me. I will wait and get it at the store!
That's been my experience as well on more than one occasion. Usually it arrives a couple days after release if it's a service like Amazon. For most releases, that's acceptable... But not for my faves like Don! Groundctrl has been very unpredictable as to when you will receive your order (to put it mildly), but I want the bundle, so.... I'll just hope for the best.
I saw dollar general after you guys brought it up. I guess General Dollar everywhere. I saw a few in other states. We have a lot here in Jackson.
I really want the $99.00 package just to get the book. I'm just don't know. I might get it from ITunes and also hope WalMart has it. I know they have a lot of the Eagles albums there and I also found The End Of The Innocence CD there too.
I usually don't preordered stuff. I did preordered a CD from Amazon and I don't remember when I got it. Than again. I had to order it from Amazon UK because Amazon US wasn't selling it yet.
I think it's required by law that every Texas town with a population over 100 has a Dollar General. It might be an ordinance in Mississippi too. ;)
I love the tasteful way Don is emphasizing his roots without going overboard. I was a bit worried he would be repeating he was from a small town in Texas every other sentence to prove he's got "country cred" to those who think of him as an Eagle from California.
I didn't know that. Thanks for that info, Soda. Probably so, Soda. But with Jackson being the capital, we've way over that. lol We have about 10 in my city and then a lot of Family Dollars too.
Count Georgia in as well. We have them all over the place here! (I'm still hoping that one day my small town will get one, though. Population of 600 should be enough to keep it in business, especially when the nearest one is over 14 miles away in a neighboring town). Lately, though, they've been popping up everywhere. There's at least 9, maybe 10 in Albany, Ga and that's just Dollar Generals. If you count the Family Dollars, make it at least 15. :hilarious:
I'm also glad that Don is addressing his roots in a bit of subdued way.
I kinda enjoyed hearing Don talking about his hometown and roots. Being a Southerner myself(accent and all, but I don't have a deep one), Don made me a country girl for a second. But I'm still a city girl at heart. I maybe from the south, but you can't take the city out of this girl. :hilarious:
Lol, I'm the opposite. It's kind of hard to be "citified"(as we call it) when you're from a town less than 1/3 the size of Linden, Texas . My accent is probably a bit on the strong side. I have a feeling that this album will make me even happier to be "southern bred in a smal town" lol.
Dollar Generals are every where in Missouri too! And I know of at least 2 in the closest city to me in Illinois!
