FP, I hate to take issue with you, but your comment above really disturbs me. I don't think you should use the word never here because a) your statement is inaccurate, and b) it is very misleading to visitors to the board that may not follow the band as closely as we do.
I think I know you well enough to know that you would not intentionally want to misrepresent anything on the board. But we need to be careful in our choice of words because many people take things very literally. I think it is much more accurate to say 'Glenn rarely attends 'industry' functions, just as he rarely does interviews.' After all, let's not forget the 60 Minutes and Capitol Gold interviews that took place within the last year or the appearances at the 2007 and 2008 CMA awards, just to mention a few examples.
I have an issue with people telling other people their opinion is wrong. An opinion can't be wrong.
EagleLady, I totally agree with you, EXCEPT that Freypower's statement in question was not expressed as opinion, but as fact. If it had been expressed as opinion, I would have had absolutely no problem with it.
