It's purely a guess, but I'd say PEF. He only sits on that box for Saturday Night, Train Leaves Here This Morning, WW, and PEF, and PEF is the one he sings lead on and so the camera would be on him. However, it could be any one of the four.

Re: Frey Fever: The Glenn Frey Photo Thread
Because he has the electric guitar there, I thought it was probably the 'ah ah ah ah' harmony part in Witchy Woman. He plays acoustic on PEF.

Re: Frey Fever: The Glenn Frey Photo Thread
I really love him in the gray/black color scheme! Short hair and all! :smitten:

That is gorgeous indeed! I haven't seen that one in a while and I've always been rather fond of that leather jacket.

I love that one too, especially the part where the above screencap is taken from. It shows Glenn's tender side.

Thanks for the wonderful pics, Soda!
He certainly is one handsome man. And I know it's a silly little thing, but I love that, in that picture with the cowboy hat, he is reading the sports pages. So cute.

Re: Frey Fever: The Glenn Frey Photo Thread
Thanks, GL, but it isn't my Bordervesary, which is in December. It's the anniversary of the day in 1979 when I first saw The Long Run & that was how it all started. :drunk: I have told this story elsewhere. I knew I had to choose my favourite Eagle that day. I had heard Heartache Tonight on the radio as it was the single but I don't think I linked it with NKIT, my previous favourite Eagles vocal. When I looked at the gatefold I could identify four out of five of them. I was baffled. I don't know if I had to look at the credits or if it dawned on me that it had to be who it was, & THEN I looked at the credits & then got an even more pleasant surprise when I read about Heartache Tonight. As I have said while I was walking back to the university (I was in Canberra at the time) I tried to tell myself I was supposed to go with Don Henley. It didn't work.
But as far as what happened earlier this year I still have trouble believing it.
Sorry to go over all that again.

Re: Frey Fever: The Glenn Frey Photo Thread
Thanks Soda.
I will just indulge myself here with one of the photos I took in 1988, because the lighting makes him look like he is supporting the ROOSTERS tomorrow.Or that's my story & I'm sticking to it. :soda:(red, white & blue smiley).

Actually this one, with Australian DJ Richard Wilkins, the shirt looks red, white & blue. OK, I'm done now..

Re: Frey Fever: The Glenn Frey Photo Thread
Happy anniversary, Julie! Wow, I don't know (m)any people who know the exact date of when they picked their favorite band member of any band. I remember you posting the story before, but I'm always amazed by it.

I hadn't heard this story yet! so i'm glad you did tell it again :) I was wondering what anniversary it was you were celebrating.
it's pretty amazing to be able to pinpoint exactly when the magic started with your favorite band! I could try to ballpark guess, but I can barely remember what I ate for breakfast yesterday haha

The only reason I know the date was because I wrote it in my diary at the time. I thought it was significant.
