I think I know you well enough to know that you would not intentionally want to misrepresent anything on the board. But we need to be careful in our choice of words because many people take things very literally. I think it is much more accurate to say 'Glenn rarely attends 'industry' functions, just as he rarely does interviews.' After all, let's not forget the 60 Minutes and Capitol Gold interviews that took place within the last year or the appearances at the 2007 and 2008 CMA awards, just to mention a few examples.
OK, 'never' was wrong. He does TV interviews (e.g. 60 Minutes) when there is something to promote and it would look rather strange if he was not involved. However, pretty much all the interviews at other times are conducted by Don, with occasional contributions by Joe and Tim. I cannnot remember the last time Glenn gave an interview to a newspaper the way Don does. As for 'industry functions' if you wish to include charity benefits that he has done on his own, as opposed to being a member of the Eagles, then OK, but the only time I've seen him in recent years at a 'function' involving the Eagles was at the opening of the Nokia Theatre.

That's a nice photo. Glenn's scarf is a nice touch but I still think his tux would have looked better with a bow tie.
