Evet, the way I make an avatar is this.
You now have two options:
- Open the picture that you want to use in Paint (or any other picture editing programme)
- Crop the part of the picture that you want, and right click to copy it.
- Go to File, New, and paste your cropped image.
- Check the size. It shouldn’t be more than 150 x 200 pixels (width and height). If it’s too big,you can go to Image, stretch and skew, but you may have to crop and save again to get rid of a white border.
Or:
- Set up a free Photobucket account.
- Upload your avatar
- Go to User CP on the Border, and find Edit avatar
- Paste the URL from your image in Photobucket
- Browse My Pictures on your hard disk and upload your picture directly. (I haven’t tried this).
It sounds complicated, but it isn’t really! If you have any trouble, pm me with the picture you want to use, and I’ll make an avatar for you.:)
Alternatively, Nancy has a wonderful selection on Eagles Online Central and the sister sites.

Thanks for the directions on how to put Ticky's EXTRA-HOT pix to use. I will try it on my own in the next couple of days (too busy right now...unfortunately, not being fabulous...) Nancy has SO many wonderful
shots I couldn't narrow them down to ones that others hadn't already chosen. Plus, Glenn in actual HFO shots just does it for me:heart: (as do all of the guys, I was so happily reminded!!) If I still need more computer help, I'll shout out.
