The Last Worthless Evening as much as I like the song, the video just doesn't do it for me. Don't get me wrong Don looks amazing(heart flutters just thinking about it) but then again as it's been said many times before, Don looks amazing in anything(more heart flutters to follow).

It's a toughie, but I'm going to vote for The Boys Of Summer.

I'm here Dreamer---I'm here--just been contemplating what to do.

I absolutely cannot vote for Boys Of Summer and so I had to choose between End Of The Innocence and Last Worthless Evening and since I think they are pretty much equal, I decided there was only one diplomatic way to decide which one to vote for this round... I flipped a d*mn coin! Yup, I'm dead serious here! For the first time in history of my playing Border Survivor, I was reduced to having to flip a frickin' coin to make a decision. How sad is that? I hope you are happy Mr. Henley!!!

And my vote, per the coin toss, goes to Last Worthless Evening.

These last three are all so good it's just nearly too hard to choose. I may have to do what you did! Going to go watch, again!

I can't vote for the Last Worthless Evening. Don is looking way too fine in it for me to vote for that video. As far as the song itself goes, i prefer Boys of Summer over End of the Innocence but we are voting on the video here and I like them both. I'm going to have to give this some thought. I will return with my vote. Who knows, I may have to flip a coin too.

Well, I was gonna vote for BOS to hep EOTI win in case of a tie...

But now that I see LWE might hang around another round, I gotta vote for it. I like it but one thing about it annoys me... the "fake Don" dancing with the girl, with the confetti streaming down. Couldn't they get Don to come back and film that, and not enlist some poser with a ponytail??? Irks me every time I see it. So...

I don't get why so many hate the LWE Video.

After watching LWE again, I realize I am also annoyed by the weird shadowy dancers at the beginning! Two of them are punching each other. What's up with that??

I don't think that anybody really hates the LWE video. Everybody has their own opinions and preferences on which video they like better. I love the LWE video. I do like the other remaining vids but LWE happens to be my favorite.

My vote for this round is for End of the Innocence

I don't HATE it either. Don looks good when he's running his fingers through his hair and they cast the sad woman well. Not only is she very beautiful, she conveys the loneliness of the woman in the song in a heart-wrenching way.

The fake Don and the dancers still annoy me. ;)

They did cast her well but what doesn't make sense to me is why did she sleep with the guy she just met and then wake up saddened that he left so quickly. I guess it's the glimpse of love.

And I certainly don’t get the impression either from reading this thread that people hate the LWE video. I mean, good grief, it looks like it will end up in third place in the game, almost escaping elimination this time – not too shabby. It is a great, sexy video but not quite as good as the two others, IMO. Since it looks like it is going down, though, I will once again cast a strategic vote…

LWE was my favourite too and I am sorry it's gone.

To me The End Of The Innocence is a more interesting video than BOS and I vote for it to win.

This is probably my favourite, although if LWE was left, I'd have a harder job deciding!

BOS is not as popular as once thought of.

Since it's nearer and dearer, my vote for favorite is The End Of The Innocence.

Boys of Summer may be iconic and artistic, but The End of the Innocence actually adds meaning and layers to an already complex song. For instance, when they show an image of a military man getting his hair shorn in a military cut as Don sings "Let your hair fall all around me..." WOW. Gives me chills.

When a video actually adds to the MEANING of a song and strikes a new chord that even the song didn't do by itself, it's reached the pinnacle.

THE END OF THE INNOCENCE for the win.

End of the Innocence is a great song, but an Ok Video, IMO, Not great, ok.

Yes Soda that is chilling. When I first heard this song, way back when I was going through the most difficult time of my life. The words hit closer to home than any other song in the entire history of music. Before hearing this song my family life had reached a point of not returning back to normal and I believe if it wasn't for the words of this song and the entire cd altogether my wounds wouldn't have healed as quickly as they did.

EL---never once did I ever say I hated LWE---in fact, I had to flip a frickin' coin to eliminate it. It just seemed to be tied for 2nd place for me I guess.

I have to vote with my heart on this one---this video was one of the "stable" things in the 80's for me-and there weren't to many "stable" things for me at that time of my life!!

Well as I was tallying the votes for the last round I realized that these two videos have the same number of previous votes, so if they got the same number of votes in this round, then for the first time in Border history, a Survivor game would end in a tie. Now, normally I don't like ties, I just personally prefer an outright winner. But, when I have to resort to deciding my favorite based on which video Don looks hotter in, or others have to toss coins to decide, then they both deserve to win and I would be fine with a tie. Angling for a tie is a dangerous thing. I say, only vote for Boys of Summer if you truly believe its video deserves to win. Otherwise, you may find that in your efforts to create a tie, you've sunk your true favorite. Remember that others are voting who care little for the balance you're trying so hard to create, and are almost certain to upset it. JMHO, of course.

You're the second person who's expressed a preference for the song... and that's perfectly fine... but we ARE voting on the video here and not the song so I hope folks take that into consideration!

As far as the song itself goes, I actually prefer Boys of Summer over End of the Innocence. BOS is one of my favorite Don solo songs and I think it totally rocks out live but that doesn't mean that I don't like EOTI. I think it's a beautiful song. The lyrics are great and Don's voice is simply beautiful when he sings it. I had to watch both videos several times to come to a decision. IMO, EOTI seems to convey more of what the song is about than BOS does. I did take the hotness of Don into consideration as well. I am a fan of the long hair on Don. I prefer it over the 80's type of hair in the BOS vid but my Don hair preference was not my decision maker. For me, it came down to which video tells the story of the song better and I feel like it is EOTI. I vote for End Of The Innocence for the win.

It looks like EOTI will win, I won't be too disappointed if it does, but it's certainly not the best of Don's videos. JMHO.

Wow - it couldn't get much closer, but barring a last minute surprise vote, it looks like there won't be a tie in this game. So, I guess I'll have to go with my gut. I thought about it long and hard because I really do think these two videos are virtually tied. I personally think both of them do an incredible job of enhancing the message of their song. I also think that it is fair to use how well you like the song as a criteria when voting for the video. But, in this case, the only thing I could use to make my decision is how hot I think Don is in The Boys of Summer video, therefore ...
