Did I miss that somewhere? I apologize for bringing it up again, but I would like to see proof of it because it would make me feel a whole lot better about it.
As for "Felder hate"--- I guess I can see where some people might get that impression but in reading here and in the Felder threads etc, I've never actually gotten a feeling of "hate". I think it's just that many members here are very passionate about all our Eagles and feel that Don Felder's airing of the "dirty laundry" was unnecessary and disrespectful.
I guess I shouldn't be putting words in anyone's mouths. But for me, like I've said several times now, Don Felder is just a non issue to me. I loved the Eagles without him, I loved the Eagles with him and I still love them without him again. The "controversy" we've been discussing about the doc has never been about Don Felder for me.

Yeah you did miss that. He stated that this was what he told Felder's representative on the phone in 1994 and he even made the little phone motion with his hand to reenact slamming the phone down.

Excuse me, TBF, it's Monday and I really do feel like I'm trying to run through cold molasses, but I think you're asking if there's proof that it was a reenactment? It's just conjecture on some people's parts. While my personal opinion is that it was 'reenactment' to some extent, I don't recall him reenacting anything else. So why that? I will say that when he spoke of it (a sentence or two) at the songwriter's session, his body language didn't indicate any anger, resentment, or bitterness, but of course, the sentences said weren't about the money, Felder's lawyer, or the fallout later that led to Felder's dismissal.
I bet that in no way answered your question! :D

Hmm. I guess I need to watch it again! Twist my arm...
Re: Eagles Documentary "History of the Eagles"
I've watched it every time it aired. I'm lovin' it.

Re: Eagles Documentary "History of the Eagles"
Of course, I read it in "Glenn's voice"! I'm still going to watch it again, just because...
Re: Eagles Documentary "History of the Eagles"
What does showing frame by frame really prove? Whoever saw it.. heard the tone in his voice when he said it. It was loud & harsh. It shocked me that he used those words & how he said it.
It wasn't the only thing Glenn said in the movie that upset me, & I'm not even talking about things about Don Felder, but other band members as well.

Perhaps you missed the post where Willie asked for "proof" that Glenn was re-enacting the phone call. Here is her post:

So I provided it for her.
I hope you feel better, Willie!
Topkat, I don't expect you to feel any differently at all.
Re: Eagles Documentary "History of the Eagles"
It might have been a reenactment (reading the screenshots). That said, I don't think it's something someone should be proud of, either.
I've come to the decision that I'll probably never watch Part 2 again. It's just upsets me too much with mixed feelings of anger and sadness. That said, I'll definitely wear Part 1 out when I get it on DVD. I've been watching Part 1 on DVR a lot lately and it's awesome. Such great footage, stories, and really exciting to watch. And the 8 songs we are getting is awesome. So I'm still stoked for the DVD.
Ultimately I think it was a good documentary. And no, I didn't expect a gloss over of the Felder firing. I full well knew that was coming (discussing the firing). I try not to let Part 2 cloud my happiness and excitement for Part 1 as I truly was in awe watching it.
I think my favorite one liner in the film was DH saying "Sh!t don't float". I rolled laughing at that one.
