p47 - not sure I entirely agree with you about this. No doubt the guys aren't as young as they used to be, and their weight may flucuate some, but I think they are still in amazing shape. When I saw Don live in November, 2009 and Glenn last month, trust me, they were far from 'chunky'. :wink:Quote:

There is a hint of a very young Robert Plant in a couple of those photos - a slightly angelic expression. I think if I do have a favourite era for Don this may be it.
After in depth inspection of those photos (very much enjoyed :smitten: ), I can see that 'angelic expression' there.

I had to back track a few pages in this thread to catch up on what I missed over the past few days and as I was about to post a few beard pics to go along with the Great Beard Debate this pic that Brooke posted really caught my attention. From the what I remember, this is a favorite of many here (myself included). I've seen this pic numerous times but for some reason i saw his chest and was just like :jawdrop::thud:. So now I'm on a mission to find some chest pics.

I just took everyone's word for it that the one in the middle was Don, even though it doesn't look like him, but who else could it be? And yes, I also remember it being discussed in another thread.
I always thought the middle guy was Glenn and the bearded guy was Don but I bowed to majority opinion in the relevant thread.
Yeah - I remember us having that discussion, but I don't remember what thread it was in either. I always thought it was Don in the middle. I agree he has a little different look, but the squared shoulders are a dead give-a-way to me. Glenn has much more rounded shoulders than Don.
I think they are all stand-ins for the real Eagles!
Just kidding. But they all look a little 'off' if you ask me.
