Then the cops would have come for sure! :hilarious:
I was doing a chemistry lab, and the label on the Magnesium Chloride said "Frey Scientific"!
Listening to the satellite radio on a road trip this weekend a dj asked if any listener knew what color the champagne was in the Eagles song Hotel California. I thought "I know, I know!" I never did hear anyone answer the question and I didn't catch the phone number to call!
Later on driving through a small town in sw Missouri, I saw a big sign on the side of a brick building: "Common Ground Restaurant". Of course, I thought of Glenn!

Clue to DOWN 30:
"It's a girl, my lord, in a _______ Ford..."

Now that's my kind of crossword puzzle!
Is it wrong that I want to stop what I'm doing and put together an Eagles crossword puzzle now? :hilarious:
Oh my gosh, Ev, I had the same thought!

Have decided to save mine for Friday as I think the forecast is telling me it's going to be too wet to go out to deliver then. :stunned: People don't like soggy newspapers, even when it's a freebie. :eyebrow:
Thanks for the Crossword WC. Printed that one too.
Love the games - thanks, Willie and whitcap!
Awesome! Thanks whitcap!
I have to print both and work on them later. Very cool!
You're welcome. WC- will get to yours soon also I hope.
Wc, love your puzzle too! I will be trying it out, too!
A lot of things reminded me of the Eagles lately. You know I'm on Steve Lukather's facebook page where he talks to people and answers all their questions. He talks alot about Don, Timothy and Joe. Not about Glenn so far. He said he worked with all the boys on their solo albums. He played the guitar on Dirty Laundry, Timothy did the background vocals on Toto IV, you can clearly hear him on the chorus of "I Won't Hold You Back for example. And he said Timothy hates when someone calls him Timmy LOL Joe plays one of his guitars, the "Luke" model and he's Steve's childhood hero. There's alot of connections between the Eagles and Toto. They are really good friends. Don called him when they were on tour in Japan. I always smile when Steve talks about them :)
Very cool that he mentions Don, Tim, and Joe though! Plus, now we know that if we ever see Timothy, we should NOT address him as "Timmy." ;)
This is the main country road near me. I went for a walk this evening and had to take a picture. I always get a smile out of it.

That is so cool!! I'd be tempted to steal that one. :hilarious:
Love it!
Today while we were out driving I noticed a row of houses called GLENN TERRACE. Then realised it was located opposite a pub called 'The Eagle!'
Very cool, Lis - I bet that brightened your day!
I picked up the August issue of Guitar World today. It listed the 100 greatest Classic Rock songs, Hotel California was No.6 and Life in the Fast Lane was No. 48
Thanks for the info, EL! Although, I guess it's no surprise that I would rank Hotel California higher - if not #1 ... at least in the top 3.
I got that too (in fact I think I posted it in the Press thread). I definitely would put Hotel California at #1.
We all need to count how many times, every summer, the weather men say "the heat is on" and reminds us of Glenn!! :hilarious: I heard it again this morning.
