That's what I thought. I'm the only Dylan fan on this board so it's a compliment. I liked the song a lot, so I decided to listen to the others. I like Take A Picture Of This (is it him playing acoustic)? I'm not so sure about When I Stop Dreaming as Parton's voice I have always found too high & cloying. The last song I listened to was That Old Flame. Shades of Miss Ghost; I prefer McBride to Parton.
I honestly think any of these songs could have been recorded by Don at any time in his career (which is where it differs from After Hours, which in my view was a huge departure for Glenn).
Me too!
Nice enough song, like it better than his duet with Dolly. Curious though why as self proclaimed hater of youtube has released 4 songs to it from a cd that won't be released for another month. If it is a 16 song cd that means 25% of it has been released for free. Don't quite understand but I will still purchase it from itunes for my phone.
I'd definitely want a second source to confirm it but this web page lists Tim as a co-writer of Don's Waiting Tables

Quote:
"The lyrics to "Waiting Tables" were written by Don Henley, Stan Lynch, Timothy B. Schmit and Steuart Smith."
Thanks for the find. I hope it's true!
I just saw this one facebook. Martina, Dolly and Merle could join Don on selected dates. Nashville might be one since its their home turf.

OMG - That's fantastic news. I can't wait to find out more about this. Thanks for the heads up, shun!
I looked on Martina's, Merle's and Dolly's website. Martina and Merle have a lot of open dates in October and November (they do have concert dates in those months). Don't know about Dolly. I couldn't find any of her tour dates. So any of them can be at any of the dates.
(I'm not sure if this belongs here or not. If it doesn't, I'll delete the post).
Got this article in a Don Henley Google alert. It's about the musician who originally did the song Bramble Rose. Don covers the song on the album with Mick Jagger. Apparently, the cover is giving the lady a boost in popularity.
