Hearing the Eagles or solo songs unexpectedly!

I was doing my grocery shopping today in ShopRite, and as I was cruising past the meat section, I heard Glenn's glorious voice in Part of You, Part of Me. I decided to buy some beef steaks for dinner.

Today I was sitting in a mall (out of town in a nearby city) waiting for Harold (what else is new) & feeling rather miserable, until I heard the opening chords of The Heat is On over the PA system. Needless to say, I immediately felt better! :)

"The Heat is On" is just so upbeat, that it can have that kind of effect on you by the chorus.

We recently changed radio stations and today we heard Peaceful Easy Feeling. This new station seems to like the Eagles. :headbang:

Now this was definitely unexpected... I heard Hotel California on the radio today. But it was in spanish! Hmmmm :hilarious:

Last week on the show "S#!t My Dad Says" Dad (Capt Kirk to me) is asked to come to karaoke night and he responds "If I wanted to see some stooges behind a microphone, I'd go see the Eagles". Then Capt Kirk does a really bad version of Too Sexy for My Shirt. Had to turn it off, funny in a BAD way. :eyebrow:

These days anything Capt. Kirk is in has stink written all over it. :hilarious:

Where are the Romulans when you need 'em?

Awww I thought it was funny. I guess some people have different sense of humor.

.....and I think some people just like to say and do what is opposite of what everyone else does.
