You gotta remember that back then, Glenn and Don weren't "the bosses." They had formed a united front and were able to get their way most of the time, but Bernie and Randy were founding members and had a lot more say than someone like Tim who was brought in with the understanding that he'd be subordinate (although highly valued). I get the feeling that Glenn and Don were able to talk Randy into a lot of stuff but with Bernie... not so much.
