Hey everyone - Just got to steal a few minutes so I could pop in and vote. No offense to Eve, but I sure hope someone can beat her to the immunity question when this round ends tonight or at least convince her to make something else immune. :lol: Sorry Eve, I know you like the song, but I'd bet the majority of folks would agree that Two Many Hands has lasted in this game a lot longer than it deserves. Personally, it boggles my mind that it will outlast After the Thrill Is Gone, but it is inconceivable to me that it would outlast One of These Nights, Lyin' Eyes, or Take It To the Limit. It appears that ATTIG will go next, so I am going to vote strategically ...

And it is JUST a game. If it was to see what everyone's favorite song was, somebody would just do a poll.
I can only speak for myself... but if LE's (my fav) made it to the final two, I don't know if I would vote for it. I know that sounds strange... I love it, I love the story it tells, but musically, I think the other songs may be stronger on the whole.Quote:

Lyin Eyes is great and all, but c'mon. Don't get me wrong, i love the song and everything about it but After the Thrill is Gone is just better. The solo, the way Don and Glenn sing their parts. Everything just works.

Honestly, I don't think anyone claimed that Lyin' Eyes is a better song because it won a Grammy (although I note EL's last post). The Grammy it won, need I say, was for Best Pop Vocal Performance by Duo or Group. It deserved that. It not only deserved it because it has awesome harmonies but because - guess what - the lead vocal is absolutely compelling. It has beautiful guitar work and a chugging rhythm section and it tells a fascinating story. It is one of the band's greatest ever songs.Quote:
