We just got our Earth Day shirts delivered...I'll have to take a picture tomorrow, b/c there's an eagle on the top left of the design...I giggled when I saw it this morning :D
I love that there is a thread on this, because I thought it was just me who notices these things.
Last Friday on the bus to work, I passed by a dentist's office. Didn't catch the first name, but the last name was Felder. And on the same trip, right outside the World Financial Center, where I work, was a van with a big eagle on it. Eagle Bird Control Inc. Apparently they "relocate" birds. Who knew there was a business in bird relocation? And what relocating pigeons in NYC has to do with eagles, I'm still not sure :)
LOL I have to write names down on tickets for people's food and sometimes their names are: Glenn, Don, and Randy. I mean I was just laughing to myself and smiling like a crazy woman. I think there are so many little things that remind me of this incredible group.
Today was too crazy. My managers know how much I love eating icing and cake mix (LOL), so they let me eat some today. LOL I was licking a beater and getting the icing on my face. One of my managers told me that I have a hook of icing from the top of my lip to my chin. LOL I was thinking so much of Glenn's mustache afterwards so I said I can just tell the customers it's a mustache. I had one of my friends cracking up after I said that. OHHHH I have always got the Eagles on my mind at certain points. LOL.
I passed a Jamba Juice in JFK Airport....of course thought of Timothy...and the pic someone snapped of him at one Cal...and of course I was grinning like a fool as I walked out of the airport...
I teach at a school where we have a lot of movement of students. Tomorrow we are getting a student with the last name Fingers.
Sirius The Bridge is playing Make You Feel My Love by Bob Dylan right now--- of course I'd rather hear Timothy's version!!!!
Last night, while shopping, I had on one of my After Hours t-shirts. A couple at the grocery store stopped me and said they just loved Glenn Frey and the Eagles and really liked After Hours. Of course, I had forgotten what shirt I had on and could not even imagine why these people stopped me to say this! One of them looked at my shirt and then I realized...
I mentioned going to the After Hours concerts and they were dismayed to find he'd played here in DC and they hadn't known. I told them that WBIG had interviewed him and WASH had given away tickets, but they said that when they do listen to the radio, they listen to 'the garbage' their kids listen to or country. They were even more upset to hear the Eagles were coming in July, tickets already on sale, and 'good' seats already sold out. They hadn't known about the documentary, either. They asked how I knew all these things and I merely said I visited a few fansites now and then, and the Eagles website itself. They said they don't 'do' social media. I said it's how you find out what's going on!
That is pretty cool VA!!!!!
Today (when I was walking) I saw an RV that said Eagle: Really Light (LOL) and on the back of a work truck said Eagle Lift!!!! LOL I couldn't stop smiling and laughing. Especially since I was listening to the Eagles on my whole walk.
I was behind a car today and their license plate said "EAGLESROC"...pretty cool huh?!
Too cool. It would've been fun to meet the people eh? LOL. Eagles do rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, I had to buy one of these this past weekend at Bath & Body Works :D

OMG - that is awesome, GS. Hope it smells good cause I'm definitely gonna have to get me some of that.
Today in the 51st and Lex subway station, I saw a huge poster for the new DVD set. It was so unexpected. Made me smile :)
That is too awesome GS. I love those kinds of body lotions and antibacterial stuff. I will have to go back to Bath and Body Works and find that. Glitter is awesome to me too. LOL.
oh wow...that would be cool to see...would make me smile and make my day
While walking at lunch, I passed a really hot Shelby Mustang parked in the lot, with the license plate "FDRLCGR". For some reason, I read this as "FLDRGTR" (Felder Guitar) and got really excited. Then the letters caught up with me and I was a bit embarrassed, hoping no one saw me checking out the car.
LOL that would be pretty awesome if the license plate said that!!!
I sometimes post on a political forum and one of the ad things at the top yesterday was for History of the Eagles
I tried to click on it and then my internet went down. My modem is acting up. Restarted it but by then a different ad was on.
Pretty cool tho. I know the ads are random
A two-fer! Stuck in Charlotte, so stopped in a bar. TVs everywhere. On one was a golfer named Michael Thompson. TV right next to it had an update on the Miami Heat with the caption Heat Is On.
Too cool VA! Have a safe trip!
OHHH that is awesome VA!!!! That's what I think of when I hear Miami Heat from my dad. LOL.
I work at a mortgage company and have to process a lot of loans per day. A good portion of the addresses are things such as-
Nation Eagles Lane
Eagles Landing
Rosewood Drive (Rosewood Bitters being Joe's song on The Confessor album)
Strike Eagle Drive
Eagle Flight Circle
Eagle Rd
American Eagle Blvd.
I'd been writing these addresses down for my own amusement.
Also I did a loan for a guy the other day whose name was Joseph Welsh. I about fell out of my chair when I saw that. I've also seen a few Henleys, Schmidts and Freys come past me as well.
Also, I listen to a lot of podcasts while working and the shows I mostly listen to use either The Eagles music, The James Gang or stuff by Joe for their bumper music (the music that is played when they cut to or come back from a commercial.)
One show I adore (The Don Geronimo Show), Don had watched 'The History of The Eagles' when it was still on Showtime and it seemed that he could not stop talking about how much he loved it. He also said at one point "Isn't Joe Walsh the most likeable musician of all time?" You can bet I loved hearing that.
very cool VA and MK
very fuuny you guys...if youthink about theyare all just names to other people but to use eagle minded ones.....we think of the guys...lol:hilarious:
I was just browsing this website ('cos my nephew has just joined it to try and sell some of his artwork) and look what I found!!! :)

Poor Joe got the shaft there! lol
Ha ha Yeah, but he's alright on the other pieces ;-)
That throw pillow is too awesome!!! I might have to get one of those sometime soon. LOL.
Today I was kind of out of it at work (I was tired) and rushing to get one of these orders done. I spilled some bbq sauce all over the steam table and one of my co-workers/friends told me to Take It Easy!!! LOL ohh I could not help myself but to blurt out how much I love that song!!!! LOL. OHH I was so happy!!!! My cares and worries just vanished. LOL. I love how a title (from our boys) can just put a smile on our faces.
We are kind of looking at houses, pulled up the listings page and there is a cute one on Shiloh Drive ;)
I was looking up a phone number from a friend and the last four numbers were 1320. To bad it wasn't his adress :p
Am I the only one that always thought the one guy in "That 70's show" got his look from Don Henley?
