"Don Henley Music Videos" Survivor Game

For My Wedding

I'm surprised by the votes for "For My Wedding." I love how they show so many couples, from the young to the very old, being happy and in love. It doesn't hurt that Don looks so good in the video (see Maleah's avatar).

I've seen plenty of Wedding Videos, so it was kinda boring, IMHO.

I cast my vote for The Heart Of The Matter.

For My Wedding is beautiful just doesn't keep my interest to see it again and again and again as much as EIDN or THOTM.

I think the For My Wedding video, obviously, has a sweet sentiment, but I can also see where it is a bit repetitious and mundane. This could be an interesting round. I'll wait until later to vote as I usually do.

I vote for The Heart Of The Matter.

As much as I hate to do this because it is my favorite Don solo song, my vote is for The Heart of the Matter. IMO, the video just completely takes away from Don's beautiful voice and those brilliant lyrics.

I have been out of town and was unable to cast my second vote, but it would have been for Johnny Can't Read, anyway!
I vote for For My Wedding this round. Lovely song, so-so video.

I didn't make it to the last round, but am not sad to see JCR go.

After watching both HOTM and FMY, I have to go with HOTM. I really don't get it. After singing and writing it so beautifully, Don really messed this one up. I'd love to see HOTM remade. But I don't think that ever happens!
