He looks gooooo oood there! Thanks! :pimp:
Don really does look great. I actually remember watching that entire Inaugural Ball on TV, and I was impressed with him then, too. I have seen a number of inaugurals over the years and that one was very different than its predecessors. As I watched Bill Clinton play his sax that night, I thought, "This is definitely the beginning of a new era in politics." In more ways than one!
Oh my goodness - he does look very HS&G there - doesn't sound too bad either!
That was excellent. It made me remember what a beautiful melody the song has. If anyone can do justice to Dylan it is Don.
It's audio only, but still a treat:

Good finds--brings back memories of watching MTV all the time way back when!!!
This one is from the same that came up in related videos--has it already been put on here also? Sorry if so.

We can never see it too often!
Can I Fought The Law be converted to MP3, because I would like to put it in iTunes. I have always loved the song.
FP, yes it can, but I just have to have a chance to do it!
In the meantime, check out Don rockin' the lip sync on Top of the Pops, 1985!

Well. That was 'of its time' as my husband likes to say. No second verse and what was with the female tambourine player? I know Glenn also did TOTP when THIO was a hit. I've never seen that.
OK, I can't help it. That TOTP clip was freaking adorable!
Wow - that was :smokin: !!!!!!
That was just great!!!:partytime:
This is from Stevie Nicks' 2001 Arizona Heart Benefit. It took place a few weeks after 9/11, which she makes reference to. This also happens to be the first time I saw Don Henley (or any Eagle) perform live!
The quality isn't the greatest but it's still fun.
First there are band intros, which go on a while. The song starts at 4:22.
Leather and Lace (AHI 2001)
The crowd goes wild when Don comes out! And then of course Stevie makes her way over to him and clings to him... lucky girl!
Then she returns to her mic and HE comes over to HER. I was in the second row, and from there you could tell that him going over to her was unrehearsed. Her eyes widened as he approached and he smiled at her, then moved in nice and close....
SIGH!
Beautiful Soda
SIGH is right. That was incredible.
They are just so good together!!!
I just watched "Inside Out" for the first time, the duet Don did with Trisha Yearwood. Has anyone seen this video? I nearly fainted when Don got up and walked over to Trisha, and put his arm around her. What a wonderfully, warm and loving video!
DF, Yes! I just saw "Walkaway Joe" the other day-lovely song and video! I wish Trisha and Don would do more duets-they sound fantastic together, and seem to have great chemistry too! SIGH.:inlove:
Oh, Don looks so good in Walkaway Joe. And Carla - Inside Out just kills me! I especially love the look on Don's face when Trisha sings "the biggest lie you ever told" - says a lot! Hehe. He's so warm, but playful in that video

This may already be here somewhere, but in case it isn't, here is a great James Taylor video of "Only One." Check out his backup singers:

I've never seen this before! It's great!
I know! Doesn't Don look great, grinning at Joni, both of them singing away with their now-politically-incorrect cigs in their hands? If anyone is inspired to do a screencap or two of Don from this video, I would be forever grateful.
I just watched it again. Too bad Don isn't shown more often but I guess they have to give James Taylor some screentime. ;) I'll try to get a cap or two, especially towards the end when you can see that gorgeous smile!
OK - done! Check out Henley Heaven!
That is my absolutely favorite JT song...it was my hubby Tom's and my wedding song! Who knew that Don was doing backup vocals? I've always noticed how great the backup singing was on that song, but I never bothered to check why!
Aww, EV, you had that sung at your wedding? That is so sweet. It IS a great song, and even greater now that we know who also sang on it with JT.
Yup, that was "our song," the one we did our first dance to. Tom is the real JT fan, and he's the one who introduced me to more of his music by taking me to a bunch of his concerts. We also used "How Sweet it is to be Loved by You" as our cake-cutting song. But I absolutely LOVE "Only One!"
Ya'll may have already seen this one.

Interesting interview! Thanks for posting.
As the tag says, just in case you don't think Don's Boys of Summer is one of the most essential songs in the history of rock:

That was--uhh? Interesting-Different - Annoying! :hilarious:
OMG - that was .... ugh - I can't even think of a word!
The video doesn't play for me - sounds like I should be glad, lol.
This one is FAR superior. This blog is written by a Fleetwood Mac fan, so scroll down to the second YouTube clip-- is Don & Stevie singing Hotel California from their Two Voices tour. Don is particularly animated in this one, dancing around & flirting with Stevie. Very nice!
