I cast my vote for 'Those Shoes'. Quite simply while TS IS a very good somg (and I listened to it only yesterday) the other songs that remain are in quite a different league altogether (I nearly typed 'Leagle'. Once my fingers recognised they were typing 'eag' in sequence they were ready to finish it off'
You guys have completely screwed up my whole list now. Remember when I said my top 2 songs could go either way and I'd be happy? KOH was one of those and In The City was suppose to go that last round. :brickwall: I hate it when things don't go my way! :weep:
I guess I have no other choice but to vote for Those Shoes.

Usually, by now, I know what song "I" want to win. However, I'm at a point in the game where I like and appreciate all the songs for different reasons.
ITC is immune, so I can't vote for it, even if I wanted to. However, I've always loved this song! "somewhere out on that horizon"... I just love it! Maybe because I'm a city girl, IDK.
ICTYW - No matter how many times I've hear it, those first opening notes of the song reach my soul. They take me back to my youth and hearing that song. It's so smokey and emotional. The huskiness of the music contrasted with Tim's smooth voice... oh yeah, love it!
TLR - I forget how much I love this song, because it's fun to sing along with. It has nice flow.
HT - Great vocals a nice rocker
TS - This is another song that is sexy. The vocals are amazing! The story, the lyrics... one of my overall favorite Eagles songs.
I can not decide on a vote yet! Help! lol
I vote for "I Can't Tell You Why." Much as I enjoy Tim's voice, it seems as though they always stick him with cheesy love songs I would not so much as tolerate performed by anyone other than the Eagles. Begone!

I agree with most everything you said about each song, ltl. However, I do know what order I would like to see the songs finish in. I will say though that my least favorite of the remaining songs is In the City, but that is immune. My next least favorite is Those Shoes so that's what I'm hoping will go down this round. If that happens, I'm crossing my fingers that someone will make The Long Run immune next round instead of In the City because I think it is one of the top three songs on the album.

I didn't see that I had voted this round, so I vote for Those Shoes. This is moving so fast I can't keep up.
I try to look at all of the songs objectively, but there's a reason some songs become 'hits' and others don't. I consider all of the remaining songs hits except for Those Shoes. It doesn't seem like it will need my vote to go, so I'll vote for The Long Run.

I Vote for Heartache Tonight. It's a good song... and I may not vote for it next round... but today, I'm feeling more love for the other songs.
This is not an easy vote and I have changed my mind several times because I really love each one of the songs left but ultimately I think I have to vote this round for Those Shoes.
Those Shoes is a personal favorite of mine, too - and perhaps if it had been released as a single it also would have been a "hit." You never know!
At any rate, if Those Shoes is going to be saved, there has to be several more votes for the second-to-last song, The Long Run. With that in mind....
