Little things that remind you of the Eagles (5/07 - 10/15)

I couldn't find this thread the other day, so I posted this elsewhere--but I really wanted to mention it here. On my drive home from the Hershey, PA concert, there's a town on Rt. 78 in PA called Frystown. There's a rinky-dink Motel Frystown with a tiny sign saying "Budget Rates", and all I could think of was The Long Story! A few towns later was Fogelsville, which reminded me of Dan Fogelberg.

I've been reading a little bit everyday about Nancy's and the other's Pebble Beach stories and they are quite facinating. They were so greatly written that i feel like i was there myself.

I was having lunch with a friend today and she was telling me a story about her brother Glenn playing golf. I'm sure that i had this big dorky smile on my face because all i could think of was Glenn at Pebble Beach and Nancy and the girls' wonderful experience there.

Driving home from work tonight, I was putting LROOE on the CD player just as I turned on to Old Eagle School Road. How cool is that?

I hear ya, i often flashback to my favorite moments with the guys at the recent concerts in Sept. and Nov. The ones that most often replay in my mind are the roses with Glenn and then blowing a kiss to Don and getting one back from him. (SIGH)

One of my supervisors name is Glenn. And even though he looks absolutely nothing like him, I always giggle to myself everytime I see him.

I was walking last week in the city and there were two boys of somewhere in the 20 and they looked like the young Don and Glenn, a friend and me where totally of earth when we saw them. And they just smiled and I think they were thinking: "Why are they almost drooling?" lol.

Just saw a commercial for a Disney movie about a Zorro-type mouse named...

Despereaux. lol

The book that made that mouse famous is very popular among the 9-12 yr olds-- The Tale Of Despereaux, I think it's called. Her name is Kate DiCamille and she has a few other currently successful novels for that age group and slightly older.
