It was Glenn who made the comment a while back that they have been recording everything the band has done since their resumption because there was practically nothing from the seventies. Since the release of HotE we now know that that wasn't entirely true, but I don't think that they were recording everything in the seventies.Quote:

I'm watching the documentary now to distract myself from the fact that I can't watch Stevie Nicks' interview on the Oprah Winfrey Network because I don't get that channel! Anyway, on this viewing, I just noticed something - they're talking about how Irving Azoff was able to talk the Bahamian border police out of searching them in 1974 and what a relief that was because "everyone was holding except Don" - including the pilot! Now, OK, I get that drugs were considered cool back then, especially for rock stars, but I can't believe they were OK with their PILOT being high!
Perhaps they were so high they couldn't care? Anyway, they didn't say he was high, just that he had 'stuff' with him.
Another weird thing: Don says at one point, "As my friend JD says, 'Time passes; things change.'" However, that's a lyric from his song "Who Owns This Place?" which is credited to both him and Danny Kortchmar. Did somebody get screwed out of a songwriting credit? ;)
