OMG - I thought I was the only one in the world that doesn't like the stubble. I wasn't even going to comment, but it's nice to know I have company. :lol: Actually, I have to qualify this - it's GREY stubble that I'm not fond of and not just on Don either. Don looked HOT with stubble in his younger days. To me, grey stubble makes a man look washed out, pale, and old. A few men can wear it well, but most can't. JMHO

lol! Actually for the most part I agree with you. I LOVE stubble and facial hair (except just a mustache LOL) but generally not the grey version as much. I like stubble any way for the most part, but the full on grey facial hair doesn't work quite as well, imo. So in other words....LOOOOOOOOVE stubble.......don't love it quite as much grey. lol

I was going to write this elsewhere, but as you unwittingly led me into it with that pic... I am on a complete high right now, because, about an hour ago, I got a private message on Facebook from Danny Kortchmar! (Some of you may remember my excitement when he responded to my wall post.) Anyway, I sent him a quick email last night, asking for any hints about which songs will be on his new album. I heard an interview from a few months back where he said he was going to be working on an album of songs that he's written for other people, and doing them in his own style. I genuinely did NOT expect him to reply. I just thought "What the heck" and pressed send.

This evening, I got an email back! He said "Hi Louise... Machine Gun Kelly, All She Wants To Do Is Dance, Tender Is The Night... a bunch more! Thanks for the interest! Danny." So frickin' cool. I had guessed those songs would be included, but it's still fun to hear it from the horse's mouth. He admits he's not as good a singer as James Taylor, Don or Jackson, but he wrote these songs and he's got his own ideas about how he would like to do them. Can't WAIT till it's released.

I know, right?! I genuinely didn't think he'd respond directly. I thought of you when he mentioned Tender Is The Night. Of course Jackson sang it, but he wrote it with Danny and Russ Kunkel.

I am seriously happy right now. :heart: I hope Danny will include You're Not Drinking Enough on his album. He's co-written a lot of songs with a lot of people, but he wrote that by himself. Also, Honey, Don't Leave L.A. would be cool! And maybe Somebody's Baby... Oh, the possibilities.

I had no idea he wrote all of those songs!
