Oh, no. I don't want to see them wearing those T-shirts with the name logos on them. It was cute for them when they were in their 20's but not so cute at 65!! Remember they were a lot thinner back then, (weren't we all) & it went with the long hair. Now, I think they would just look foolish wearing something like that. I think they dress well for the shows. I don't like them too dressed up. I hated those black suits they wore with the white shirts & black ties. That was a funeral look to me & way too formal.

As for Sundance, yes they were very casual, but looks like so was everyone else, so I guess it was ok. I would have liked to see them a little more dressed at the Q&A & premier, but they will do whatever they want. They've earned it!

Not cool that she didn't mention Tim at the beginning. Did anybody know that Timothy has a Native American ancient art collection? It's news to me!

Don seemed a little flirty with the reporter (nothing in appropriate). It was cute. Then, after he realizes she's kind of clueless, his tone changes a bit, lol. But Don... Life in the Fast Lane was 1976, not 1979!

Well Braunwyn Walsh--you may have been waiting for Don Henley, Joe Walsh & Glenn Frey but I would of been waiting for the 4th Eagles, Timothy B. Schmit, also.

And you might want to get a clue that between the 2 albums you asked Don about, there was a span of 6 years and so, therefore, yeah, a lot had happened. Geez!!!!:ack:

And there were only 3 years between Desperado and LITFL. Don had a little memory blip. Ironic that it happened when he was schooling someone else!

You know what? I didn't even notice what she was saying after the whole "I'm waiting for..." so I just took Don at his word. :lol: Guess I should of paid attention after all. Oops!

yeah I have a big problem with Braunwyn too...Timothy was so gracious..of course...she had him introduce himself because she probably didn't know who he was...yeah Braun...there's a fourth Eagle...or didn't you know that?

I went back and listened again. I wonder if she was actually talking about the songs Desperado and LITFL or if she didn't know LITFL is off of HC. And if she did, did she catch what Don said when he corrected her. :lol: I wouldn't but never the less, it seemed like a pretty silly question.

Maybe it's me but I've never found Eagles songs particularly 'vulnerable'. Perhaps that could be a separate topic.

I think this is funny; if they had worn suits you would have complained.

Regarding the interview; she did not know who Tim was. No wonder he looked so tense. The part I noticed was when Don said the tour would go 'all around the world' for a couple of years so I would hope Australia will get one more visit from them.

Timothy is such a sweetheart!

If they had worn those stuffy business suits, then yeah, I'd have complained about that, too. I expected them to be more stylish. So sue me.

I do seem to recall hearing about Timothy's native artifact collection before ..in one of the articles for FTF or Expando maybe?

dh was actually the funniest part of the interview when he realized he was dealing with a reporter who the "light was on but nobody was home" mentallity (sorry JMO) and yes TBS was so kind and gracious...gentelman.

The Eagles touring in June works out perfectly for me. With Fleetwood Mac touring in the spring, the two won't overlap. Plus, my summer schedule is much lighter. Convenience-wise and finance-wise, this is definitely a boon!

I think they looked great..sylish and comfy why not, they were there to see a movie too...jeans boots sweaters scarfs..SMOKING' HOT... IN MY OPINION..

Your so right about Timothy, though i can't believe she didn't know who he was especially when she was there to talk to the eagles. :stunned:

Don makes me melt too, but i am beginning to feel for him. :smitten: I remember in interviews his biggest pet peeve was when reporters don't do their homework. Then twice in one day, he got asked the stupidest questions. It makes wonder how they decide who gets to do the interview. Sometimes as a fan it like you sit their and wonder where the heck the reporter gets the info when it so wrong or incomplete. Though I have to say when Don corrected her wrong i spit pop.:hilarious: LOL

Maybe it's better just to stare at the loveliness:drool: LOL

Yes. The difference between you and FP is that she only feels that way about relatively current photos, whereas you feel that way about every photo of Glenn ever taken... but it's all good! I'm sure Glenn wouldn't mind. Heck, if he showed up at my door in a trash bag, I wouldn't turn him away. ;)

Well, I don't think she did a very good job, but she looked pretty young. Why don't they have interviewers that are familiar with the band or are fans of the band doing this stuff. These kids might get a few minutes to come up with some questions, but they really don't know anything about the real band. They need 'seasoned' reporters for this type of thing. jmo!

I didn't even gush about Glenn's appearance. All I have done is post a couple of photos with the word 'sigh' above them which I didn't consider excessive.

For what it's worth the screenshot of him singing TIE in the trailer where he is smiling is very nice indeed. It is true that I don't often comment on 'old' photos. That doesn't mean I don't like them. :confused:

Glenn is so worth gushing over no matter what time period:smitten:.... except maybe the big bushy handlebar mustache period(big mustaches aren't my thing),,but even then well worth a second look. :yay:

The sad thing is Don seemed taken with her at first! Too bad she had to spoil it by opening her mouth.

We have to remember, though, that these people are covering all of the Sundance films and not just the Eagles premiere. A more seasoned person able to ask intelligent questions of the Eagles might fumble the ball when it's time to ask Daniel Radcliffe about career highlights after Harry Potter before the premiere of his indie movie.

That really annoyed me that she did not even know who Timothy was! Not only did she not know his name, she didn't even know he was an EAGLE!
Please, give me a break. She should have known at least THAT MUCH!
