I would certainly like more information on that because it seems highly dubious to me.

And re the Monaco wedding: (sorry I'm not sure how to do the quote thing from another website!)
"Fifty days before the event, and following publication of the programme for 1 and 2 July 2011 on the www.palais.mc website on 4 April, here is some further information:
Thursday 30 June :
- 7.00pm: Journalists accredited by the Press Centre are invited to attend a special press event on the Hotel Méridien beach in Monaco.
- 10.00pm: The couple will offer a special concert for Monegasque citizens, residents, persons working in the Principality and people from neighbouring communities. The EAGLES, a group from California, a pioneer in country rock, will give a two-hour concert in the Louis II Stadium, before an audience of 15,000 people expected to attend. "
:partytime:
Then they're off to England for Hop Festival!
This Bob Seger article makes a Glenn/Eagles mention about writing "Heartache Tonight":

Just saw Bob Seger in Concert last Tuesday in Omaha....He was Awesome! He has great personality on stage ever at his age!!
Well - looks for sure like they weren't capable of stringing the song together in five seconds like that self-annointed critic, George Starostin, that we talked about in another thread claimed he could do. Guess George is just much more awesome that way.
Rolling Stone has just updated its "Best 500 songs" list, first compiled in 2004. At that time, "Desperado" was #494.
Well, it's been bumped - now it's not on the list at all. Boo!!!
And what was added in its place, you might ask? Check out the list of "new additions" any one of which replaced "Desperado":
"Crazy" by Gnarls Barkley (#100)
"Crazy in Love" by Beyonce featuring Jay-Z (#118)
"Moment of Surrender" by U2 (#160)
"99 Problems" by Jay-Z (#172)
"Rehab" by Amy Winehouse (#194)
"Paper Planes" by M.I.A. (#236)
"Mississippi" by Bob Dylan (#260)
"Jesus Walks" by Kanye West (#273)
"Seven Nation Army" by The White Stripes (#286)
"One More Time" by Daft Punk (#307)
"Take Me Out" by Franz Ferdinand (#327)
"Beautiful Day" by U2 (#345)
"Maps" by Yeah Yeah Yeahs (#386)
"Umbrella" by Rihanna featuring Jay-Z (#412)
"Juicy" by The Notorious B.I.G. (#424)
"American Idiot" by Green Day (#432)
"In da Club" by 50 Cent (#448)
"Get Ur Freak On" by Missy Elliott (#466)
"Big Pimpin'" by Jay-Z featuring UGK (#467)
"Last Nite" by The Strokes (#478)
"Since U Been Gone" by Kelly Clarkson (#482)
"Cry Me a River" by Justin Timberlake (#484)
"Clocks" by Coldplay (#490)
"Time to Pretend" by MGMT (#493)
"Ignition (Remix)" by R. Kelly (#494)
"The Rising" by Bruce Springsteen (#497)
-------------------
OK, I get it, it's Rolling Stone, who cares about their lame lists, right? But oh my gosh, "In da Club" by 50 cent? "Get Ur Freak On" by Missy Elliott? "Big Pimpin'" by Jay-Z? Those are better than "Desperado"?? COME ON!!!
The only one of those I've even heard is Dylan's Mississippi. No, I haven't heard Springsteen's The Rising.
I've heard about half of them. I actually think "Clocks" by Coldplay is a terrific song and it might even deserve being in this list, but the rest? "Rehab", "Beautiful Day," "American Idiot" and "Umbrella" are all catchy but none are worthy to replace "Desperado." The one that now bears Desperado's old number 494, R. Kelly's "Ignition (Remix)", is also kinda catchy but not exactly a masterpiece lyrically...
