I have to say, I thought the votes would be a little closer than they are. Both remaining songs are great... but really, I thought the margin would be closer.
One Of These Nights to win!
I haven't got a clue how many votes each song has, but (by the narrowest of margins as I like both songs equally for different reasons) my vote to win goes to 'One of these nights'.
For me, while I like both songs, only one of the two I truly adore. One of These Nights is very sexy, but to me, also sounds very 70s (not that there's anything wrong with that).Quote:

Well since my favourite went down in the last round, I have to vote for my next one and for me it stands out a mile. Its DARK, HOT, SULTRY, PASSIONATE and oozing with sex appeal.
One thing everybody should do before they die is listen to this live in an outdoor stadium just as dusk is closing in. It just moves you into another time.
So I'm voting for

for the win.
TITTL is also a great classic, but here I think the title track stands out on its own.

Wow, I was so busy yesterday with fun things that I lost track of which day was the final day. I was still so torn between these two songs, that literally I was changing my mind with the wind. I believe my final answer yesterday would have been Take it to the Limit!
(Is that kind of like voting after the fact? :) )
I had a feeling when the game began, TITTL would be the winner. It's a great song and Randy sells it. I'm equally happy with the runner up... OOTN has grown on me so much in the past few months.

I want to say Congratulations to Take It To the Limit as well. It is definitely one of my all-time favorite Eagles' songs.
Also, I added a third download in the 'winner" thread on the previous page. It is a very cool video of Randy performing the song with Timothy and Richard Marx in 1987. Definitely worth checking out if you've never seen it.

Congratulations, Take It To The Limit! I voted for OOTN to win, but it was a close call between the top three.
Awesome song. Randy's original vocal is stunning and never loses its power. I also love the way the guys sing it now in concert. Glenn absolutely does it justice, and I get goosebumps when the whole audience sings along. A worthy winner!

Although I really thought One of These Nights should win, I'm not hurting too bad with Take It To The Limit. Another awesome song! I do prefer Randy's version, always will, just because. I love listening to it on the Live album-I think even Glenn is amazed with Randy's performance on that from his comments afterwards.
