I knew that Don had performed with Jerry Lee Lewis before but I didn't know that it was filmed. I love Don's smile and laughter in this vid. Soooo cute!!!

Thanks for finding these Peek and Jojo. That one with Don and Jerry Lee Lewis is amazing. I mean we all knew that Don's still got it going on, but so does Mr. Lewis. I mean that guy must be well in to his 70's now and still going strong! :yay:

I think the Jerry Lee Lewis special was filmed in 2007. But now they have taken it down. :sad:

That's too bad that they took it down. Don looked so cute in that video.

Ah too bad...I also enjoyed it! It was nice to see him having fun and full of smiles. Well at least I did get to see it.

I had read an article the other day that Brad Paisley had covered Boys of Summer in one of his recent concerts and as I was browsing Youtube this morning I found the performance that was mentioned in the article. His version has a bit of a country flavor to it but imo he does a pretty decent job on the song.

I must say that severe sighing has commenced this side of the pond after viewing that video. What a great piece of film. Caddo Lake looks so beautiful, and I swear his voice gets sexier as he gets older.

Don talking about nature is about as good as it gets, for me! Love the outdoorsy, rugged look. Reminds me of one of my favourite pictures... (this may infact have been taken on the same shoot, I'm not sure.)

Diane, I assume you're talking about Don's wife Sharon, but Stevie gave this interview in the late 80s long before Don and Sharon were married. In fact, it was before they were even dating.

I'm not sure what Stevie meant when she said he "treats me like we were married" but I think she was trying to pay Don a compliment, call him a gentleman.

Regardless I think Stevie knows a little bit more about the way Don treated her than we do. ;)
