Thank you soda for the SBR files... makes me want an eagles concert even more!! :D
No problem, guys - they were already uploaded to GFO - I just posted the links! SBR has always been a favorite of mine. Such gorgeous harmonies.
That's a great pic of them singing Seven Bridges Road, and also the screencap with Steuart. Thanks for those links, soda. I so clearly remember buying Live on cassette in 1981 and hearing SBR for the first time, and ICTYW, and wondering why solo artist Joe Walsh was guesting on the tape! My ignorance was impressive!
lol! Well, I still remember when I saw the ad for HFO in 1994 and was shocked to learn that "the guy who sang YBTTC" and "The guy who sang Boys of Summer" used to be in a group together.
I knew Glenn and Don were Eagles (although I didn't know what Don looked like in the early days, behind those drums) but when I saw HFO, it was more like "the guy who sang 'Life's Been Good' is an Eagle too?"
Wow, and here I am remembering what it was like back in 1975 when I heard that Joe was joining the Eagles and I thought 'this should be interesting'.

I've never thought about the members of the band in the 70s. Maybe I was too young. The only guy who I knew was Don Henley but I didn't knew he is an Eagle. I always thought he is a country singer.
I remember when hearing that Joe Walsh had joined the Eagles hubby and I were like.......Joe Walsh :?: :headscratch: It just seemed wierd!
It worked, though! Nice pic, FP. I love to see Glenn and Joe together.
