If I had to make a guess, I'd say he's playing a Fender Precision Bass.

Randy prefers the Precision where as Timothy prefers the Jazz. Both of them being Fender basses.

Since it's red and I've seen him with a red bass in pics a lot, that has to be his Hagstrom bass!

I do quite like the angle on this photo. And he uses a white bass with the red shirt. A red bass with the red shirt would have looked awful. ;)
