Thank you.
Austin, I'm so sorry to hear what you're going through. I hope things get better. I hope your surgery goes well.
Such a rough go for you Elle but looks like it might be brightening up.
Walshfan...wow that’s a lot to take on. What a crappy hand you’ve been dealt. My childhood dog had congestive heart failure and lived for some time with it. He was on diuretics and even doggy digoxin if I remember correctly. It was very sad and he was in a lot of pain. I am sorry for your loss of your pet and friend. Hoping you the best with your surgery and uphill battle.
KW, yeah it is a bit rough right now. But as I was in bed thinking about things and worrying (like I always do), out of nowhere I heard Glenn's voice. My roommate's kid had her radio turned up and "Peaceful Easy Feeling" was playing. So maybe that was the universe telling me to relax and not worry so much. So I'm going to try and not stress too much. That's all I can do, really.
AG - I am so sorry to hear about the infection. Hopefully it is clearing up. Good luck with the surgery and it is wonderful that your professors will work with you so you can complete this semester. Sending warm wishes for a successful recovery.
Shun - Glad to hear that the surgery was a success and congrats on the promotion.
Elle81 - Good luck with the carpel tunnel surgery and the Workman's Comp. I have heard horror stories regarding how bad Amazon treats it's employees. Once you have the surgery your hands will feel a lot better.
Austin - OMG, I am so sorry to hear what you are going through. Losing your beloved dog and friend is so hard but it sounds like you are remaining strong. Thank God it was not a full stroke. Good luck with the foot surgery. Like UTW said, now you know what it is, have a game plan, and know how to treat it. Please know that everyone is here for you if you need to talk. We are like one big family. I am sending warm wishes for successful surgery and recovery.
Hang in there everyone. Austin, best of luck to you in the coming months as you deal with your health issues and sorry for the loss of your friend and your beloved dog.
So sorry you are having such a rough time Austin. I hope that the surgery will give some sort of closure and that mentally things will start looking up for you.
Thanks again everyone.
WOW So much happening. I too lost my dog six week ago today She was a rescue and I had her for 4 1/2 years. We bonded when I first saw her. She loved to ride on my mobility scooter. She wasn't a mutt but was pure bread challenged.
I feel for all of you and wish you strength to deal with your situations.
So I talked to the specialist and we both agreed that surgery is the best conclusion to this situation, since my carpal tunnel pain is bi-lateral (both wrists). I chose to have the surgery done in the O.R. rather than outpatient. So I will be completely knocked out for that, which is good because of my fear of needles. I have it scheduled on the 7th of July. I'm not nervous right now, I'm just relieved to be finally getting it done.
