I had a very busy weekend! I took off work Friday to go help our daughter clean in her new bar and grill she will be opening in a month or so. Lots of elbow grease used and worn out by the time we got home that evening! She lives about two hours away from us. I'm very skeptical as I know eateries come and go every day, but she has made her decision! Fingers crossed it all goes well!
At 6:00 am our son called and his wife's water had broken and he needed us to come get his son so they could go to the hospital to have a baby! We were blessed with a new grandson a few hours later! She was scheduled for a c-section on the 30th, but little Catcher decided he was ready to make his appearance! We are all ecstatic and happy and baby and mom are doing great and coming home today! His big brother is pretty excited too!

So I was in a car accident last week...I was waiting to turn left while driving home from work and a car came out of nowhere, hit the right rear end, and sent my car into the lane of oncoming traffic. It all happened in a split second, I honestly don't know what happened, the next thing I knew I was facing a car in the opposite lane. Thankfully, the cars in the left lane stopped, so I didn't hit anyone else, but it's still pretty bad. My car is wrecked, they won't know for another few days if it's totaled or not, and I've had neck pain since the accident (I'm seeing a doctor on Wednesday). I am still in shock over all of this, and it took everything I had to get in the car and drive to and from work the next few days after that
I've never shared my personal life on here, but this is one of the worst things that's ever happened to me, and I had to share. Thanks for listening!
Oh wow, groupie! Sounds like you were lucky to not be hurt worse! Hope all is well soon!
So glad you're okay, groupie! I've never had an actual car accident, but the couple of times I've come close it upset me so much. (Had a guy run a stop sign once. I was sure I was toast. Not sure if I was so upset because I was mad or just relieved there wasn't an accident, but I had to go home.)
Take care of yourself. The body doesn't react well when traveling in one direction then suddenly getting forced into another.
Oh wow! Take care Groupie! Accidents can really be devastating!
