When I started posting on the Border my daughter Laura was 5 years old going on 6. This week she has gotten her school leaving exam results at age 18. That means she is finished school for good. The grades she gets are given 'points' and the number of points you get dictates what college/University course you will be offered. So delighted to say that she got offered her firest choice of course - Modern Languages and she will be doing it in UCD (University College Dublin) which is where I also went!
