I am fixing my teeth :scowl: and working on mty Master's thesis :|
Been a little while since I did an update about school. My class has been going really well and really like my teacher and that it's a smaller class. There's only 4 other students besides me, but since I'm going into being an administrative assistant it's mimicking what my job might be like after I graduate. It also helps for me giving presentations as it's smaller and I already feel like I know them so helps my anxiety about it. Then I just signed up for what should be my final class for next semester!!! :D I still have to do the internship later but it's so great being so close to finally graduating college. :D
And yes, still editing my next book and also have a new story idea I'm planning to start writing for National Novel Writing Month next month, but only using it to write each day and not the 50,000 word count goal as I don't need all that stress with school too. LOL
I am going into my second half of my first semester
Study, students, study! :)
I've finally finished the paper the Savannah conference. Now my professor has to edit it. We've got everything else set (hotel, transportation, etc). My professor was kind enough to pay for everything himself. My next etep is to prepare my presentation, which has to be between 5-10 minutes long.
I've also submitted the position paper for the Atlanta conference, which is the week after the Savannah conference. Submitting the paper comfirms my eligibility to attend.
Tomorrow morning, I'll be going to hear Pres. Carter preach in Plains, GA, and I'll get a photo with him afterwards. I'm going with my college's history club.
Tomorrow is also my mom's birthday, so I'll be spending some time with her. She's getting married on Wednesday, but because of college and the kind of nonexistent relationship my stepfather prefers to have with me, I probably won't attend the wedding.
AG - Good luck at both Savannah and Atlanta ! Such an exciting time for you, you should be so proud of everything you have accomplished. That is so cool that you will get to meet Pres. Carter. Have a wonderful time.
Best of luck Kim!!! :D And that's awesome you get to meet President Carter!!!
Very good news, AG95. So happy for all the good things coming your way. :-)
All of you students make me smile- your future is so bright. Good for you! :-)
Buffy, good luck writing in November!
Glad things are going your way Kim!
