What's Happening In Your Life?

Hey, guys!

A returning member here! I'm sitting here in a bit of shock at the moment upon hearing of legendary guitarist, Reggie Young's, passing. Reggie was a huge influence on me as a guitarist and his legendary intro riff for Dobie Gray's "Drift Away" will be with me in my sleep tonight.

I'm hoping that I'll soon be able to pick up a copy of the new "Legacy" box set by The Eagles & the new box set, "The '68 Comeback Special: 50th Anniversary" from Elvis Presley sometime this week. :)

I just returned from a Doctor appointment for carpal tunnel syndrom. A few months ago I noticed that my hands kept going to sleep, especially a night. It would wake me up several times during the night. Unbelievably, it was covered by workers comp since I have worked at a computer every day for 28 years! Instead of surgery the doctor thought I should try steroid injections first. Had them in both wrists a couple months ago and it worked! Got released today! The doc said it would probably come back unless I changed jobs, which I have no intention of doing, but hey, if it lasts 6 months or a year without surgery, I'm good! I can have the injections again if it's not too soon. Happy camper here!

So glad to her your CT is covered, and I'm glad it sounds like you can get some treatment - although I'm sorry you have to deal with it at all (I think I'm suffering from it, too!

Austin - I am so sorry to hear that doctors feel you have kidney disease. Thinking of you and sending prayers your way. Hope you have a great time in Florida - you sure do deserve it.
