I wonder why that person felt it necessary to tilt his camera over! Nevertheless, thanks for those rarities, soda.

I've never seen this footage before! It's AWESOME!!!
Take It Easy at the California Jam 1974
That was an amazing clip. (Brought back memories of an era--I graduated from high school in 1974 and I have pictures of me in a halter top and low-slung bell bottom jeans just like those girls jamming at that concert. Those were the days...<sigh> )
All the guys looked great--unfortunately I never saw a good shot of Don though! That must be one reason why I didn't know who he was until his Dirty Laundry/Boys of Summer days.
That little boy playing guitar in that clip was adorable. He looked like he was sitting to the side of the stage--I wonder who he belonged to?
Its awesome! And isn't Glenn gorgeous in it? (I'm biased anyway ) I wondered about the kid with the guitar too! Wonder what he's up to now! Does he still play!!

Glenn Frey 1948-2016 RIP
What a great find, Soda. Fantastic clip.
That's a wonderful clip, Soda! Thanks for finding it. One of those 'I wish I was a microphone' moments for me. Interesting that Glenn played Old Black rather than his 12-string.
The little kid is very cute - could he have been a baby Meisner?
I'm not sure if Meisner had kids then; it's very possible as he was married and is now a granddaddy, according to an interview a few years back. Another possibility is that it could have been a baby Browne. On the other hand there were so many bands at California Jam that perhaps any one of their kiddies was entertaining himself to the side!Originally Posted by glenneaglesfan

I'm with ya there in 1974, DF! Sure looks familiar! Oh, to have been one of those girls there!
The little kid is so cute. And what's with the guy climbing that tower? Things have sure changed haven't they?! No one would get by with that these days!

1948-2016 Gone but not forgotten
We've got the DVD of Deep Purple's performance at that show. You can barely see Glenn Hughes under his hair. Well, you can barely see OUR Glenn under his hair then either. Love the patched jeans.
