That was an amazing clip. (Brought back memories of an era--I graduated from high school in 1974 and I have pictures of me in a halter top and low-slung bell bottom jeans just like those girls jamming at that concert. Those were the days...<sigh> )
All the guys looked great--unfortunately I never saw a good shot of Don though! That must be one reason why I didn't know who he was until his Dirty Laundry/Boys of Summer days.
That little boy playing guitar in that clip was adorable. He looked like he was sitting to the side of the stage--I wonder who he belonged to?
Another person you can barely see is Jackson Browne on piano.
And yes, that kid with the guitar is too precious!

I'm not sure if Meisner had kids then; it's very possible as he was married and is now a granddaddy, according to an interview a few years back. Another possibility is that it could have been a baby Browne. We've got the DVD of Deep Purple's performance at that show. You can barely see Glenn Hughes under his hair. Well, you can barely see OUR Glenn under his hair then either. Love the patched jeans.
