    HAPPY ANNIVERSARY SOUL SEARCHIN'!!!

While not my favorite of Glenn's solo albums, I still love it. My personal favorites are the title track, True Love, the rockin' Working Man, and the gorgeous I Did It for Your Love. I always loved the the first three from the first time I heard them. However, for a long time, I thought I Did It for Your Love was somewhat bland. But then, one day I had an epiphany. Out of nowhere, I was listening to the song and suddenly out of nowhere I absolutely fell in love with the song. Go figure!

As for Working Man, for those of you that may not know it - Glenn recorded an alternate version of the song in a slow tempo, which I also adore. Soda has it on GFO so take a listen a see what you think ...

Happy 32nd Birthday to Soul Searchin'.

I love I Did It For Your Love. Beautiful song.

I hear a lot of the songs from this album on Pandora.

    Brothers for life. RIP Glenn

I'm not sure I believe in fate, but I know that crossing paths with Glenn Lewis Frey in 1970 changed my life forever, and it eventually had an impact on the lives of millions of other people all over the planet. It will be very strange going forward in a world without him in it. But, I will be grateful, every day, that he was in my life. Rest in peace, my brother. You did what you set out to do, and then some." -Don Henley
