Brothers for life. RIP Glenn
I'm not sure I believe in fate, but I know that crossing paths with Glenn Lewis Frey in 1970 changed my life forever, and it eventually had an impact on the lives of millions of other people all over the planet. It will be very strange going forward in a world without him in it. But, I will be grateful, every day, that he was in my life. Rest in peace, my brother. You did what you set out to do, and then some." -Don Henley
Happy 36th Birthday to Building the Perfect Beast.

Happy 37th Birthday to Building the Perfect Beast.
I still don’t know why no interviewers have ever asked about asking Lindsey to play on his album. If I had interviewed Don, that’s one question I would love to know.

Wasn’t sure where to put this, but this is a video where Mike Campbell talks about coming up with the music for “Boys of Summer” and how the song almost didn’t happen. Interesting stuff!

Happy 38th Birthday to Building the Perfect Beast. A great album.
I really hate there’s no interview about Don asking Lindsey to be on this album. Nobody has ever ask that that especially their history with a certain singer. Haha I would just love to hear the story about this. Every year I always wonder about this.

It does make you wonder, doesn't it? Would have loved to have heard that conversation!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO BUILDING BEAST!!!
My repetitive comments about the unevenness of this album make me sound like a broken record. What would be cool is if I really could break off the songs that I think are really bad. I often refer to the album as Building the Perfect Bi-Polar Beast. On the positive side, the songs that are awesome are REALLY awesome.
