I thought the same thing too. Did it say anywhere if Lindsey responded?
Brothers for life. RIP Glenn
I'm not sure I believe in fate, but I know that crossing paths with Glenn Lewis Frey in 1970 changed my life forever, and it eventually had an impact on the lives of millions of other people all over the planet. It will be very strange going forward in a world without him in it. But, I will be grateful, every day, that he was in my life. Rest in peace, my brother. You did what you set out to do, and then some." -Don Henley
That statement from Stevie does seem odd. From her perspective I guess she thinks nothing is more important than LB’s health - not the band or feuds, etc. so all that is set aside. Lindsey probably hasn’t forgotten though. When did she send the letter b/c didn’t he or his wife say the only one who contacted them personally was Christine? Maybe I have got it mixed up, I haven’t followed that closely.
I do remember some people thought the letter wasn’t adequate or something but didn’t know about the rest, thanks.

Right or wrong, what’s done is done
It’s only moments that you borrow...
Wow ... just Wow! And I'll give her the benefit of the doubt that she meant well by sending the letter. The sad thing is that she is such a diva that she probably doesn't even realize how insensitive it was.
