I posted this on another thread, but it belongs here - The Flying Burrito Bros in 1970:

Is it terribly shallow to say that Bernie looks really good? He doesn't sound bad either.
In one of the youtube comments, there's more detail:
Yeah, that's Bernie. I asked Chris about this and he said Gram had just left the group and Rick Roberts had yet to join and they had these commitments so they played the gigs and split up the vocals and went out as a quartet(with Mike Clarke and Sneeky Pete Kleinow). They weren't on all of the Festival Express dates, just a few.
UTW, you've been around here long enough to know that acknowledging how handsome the guys are/were is highly encouraged and certainly not considered shallow by Borderers!!
I think part of what makes Bernie so attractive then and now is he has a nice way about him...I don't know what that means. He's not classicly handsome like a movie star, but very attractive, especially when performing.
This is audio from a 1984 concert with Chris Hillman and Al Perkins - a FBB reunion of sorts, and Wow! I may just have to seek out Desert Rose.

Guaranteed to raise a smile, here's Bernie aka, Crashen Burns, playing banjo and singing harmonies with, early nineties country pastiche of rap superstars Run DMC, Run C&W.
They played "soulgrass" covers...

They made 2 Albums;
Into the Twangy-First Century 1993
Row vs. Wade 1994
after a 1992 single titled, Itchy Twitchy Spot (Parody of Achy Breaky Heart)
Well, that did raise a smile-- thank you for posting these. I've been meaning to check out Run C&W. Too bad "Crashen Burns" didn't sing any leads.
(I missed the line about Tanya Tucker)
Always love seeing those Run C&W videos. They were very talented even if they were a parody act.
