You are a champion! D., I crown you the Research Queen
Can't help but wonder what went down in the exit of the Bernster. Maybe he and Jimmy Griffin clashed.

I agree, great job, Delilah!!
Did either of you notice that at the top of that page was a picture of a younger Vince Gill...
Thank you both! The last couple of days I've been holed up at home with contractors upgrading our house, which is in disarray, and there's limited mobility around here. So anyway, I've had some extra time on my hands. I've found a couple of other little treats, so be on the lookout...
And yes, ETG, I did notice that picture of Vince Gill. Seems like he's everywhere now, lol.

Thank you for the kind words, LT!
This from Billboard, dated 8/21/1982; there was no accompanying article.

D., you totally rock!
Delilah, when people on YouTube and Facebook see the 1981 performances from the "Fridays" tv show, they always ask whatever happened to Therese Heston. The only trace of her I've seen online is that she did a solo album circa 1980 and there is a photo of her with singer Lauren Wood ("Fallen") on Ms. Wood's web site from maybe the 1990s. That's it, really. Don't know if Therese got married, changed her name, left the music business or none of the above. Have you seen anything?
I've wondered what happened to her as well. I thought I read somewhere she had vocal credits on an album recorded by another female artist, but I don't remember the name. I do remember looking up the person on fb, but there was little info. Whoever this person was may have had something to with The Millenium. I'll rack my brain and see if I can recall.
I didn't know Ms. Heston recorded a solo album.

Ok, I found the info I referred to earlier. Therese Heston recorded and co-wrote an album with Colleen Stewart in 1980. Ms. Stewart also lists Randy as one of the many artists she has performed with either live or in the studio. I remember looking up her FB page, but I don't think I looked into it further than that.

Btw, Lauren Wood's website looks cool.

Thank you for that! I remembered the female musician was a pianist but I couldn't remember her name.
I haven't actually seen a listing for Ms. Heston's album, just a post or two on YouTube from people who said it was good.
