Thanks for all the work you have done on this thread Austin. It really is a labour of love. I play a little guitar and I have one of Glenn 's signature Takamine guitars. As well as one of the Walden Woods Eagles guitars. My favourite one to play is Glenn 's one.

    Awesome GA!

I'd love for anyone to post pics of the guys with guitars or their signature models or guitars or even amps that are identical to what they play. Trying to keep it Eagles centric or we would have 1001 pages on guitars and who plays what.

Maybe someday I'll delve into their guitars they used on solo stuff, most of it is the same but in the case of Joe, it's quite different. But with Joe he's the biggest guitar gearhead of all of them and that's why he plays a different one on every song and constantly changes the guitars and amps he uses on tour. His section will likely have the most revisions as I see him with new stuff or people post pics from shows.

    Excellent thread!!!

    Here's my contribution...

These are from the May 2, 2012 concert in Atlanta. I'm told that a couple of them have been posted in some guitar forums.

WF88. I don't know much about guitars. I always thought a bass had 4 strings. But I have seen quite a few lately with 5 strings. Can you enlighten me please?I hope no one minds my posting this. Thanks

    From May 4, 2012:

Seconds after this photo was taken, Don stuck his fingers into the strings as Joe was playing...very funny.

This is all of them during Dirty Laundry:

    And of course...

Out of interest who's the bloke behind Steuart on that final photo? I want to say Michael Thompson but he's changed a lot since F1 if that's the case!

Basses normally use 4 strings but there are 5 and 6 string basses as well.

5 strings are more common than 6 though. The 5 string has a low B for the 5th string. Just more notes to use! A 6 String can be tuned in lots of different ways.
