TT, are you referring to Lucy with the "hot, hot, hot" comment? Not that there's anything wrong with that!

Joe is on his fifth wife (most fans and websites tell you he's on his fourth because his first marriage in the 60s to a lady named Margie was very brief and is not widely known). Lucy's mother is Juanita Boyer, Joe's third wife. They were married from 1980-1988.

Ok... wait 1980-1988. Isn't that the time period that Joe had the affair with Stevie? or was that Stevie & Henley?
Which came first? Don & Stevie? or Joe & Stevie?
Soda, I know you know all this stuff! I need to get these affairs in order!

Unfortunately, it's true that Joe cheated on his wife with Stevie. Those two hooked up off and on from 1983-1986. Stevie used to have a bad habit of "dating" married men. It takes a bit of the sheen off of her "grand romance with Joe" talk, at least for me.

Don and Stevie's relationship came first; it was off and on from about 1976-1979. They remain close to this day.

You can find lots of information about all this in these threads:

Thanks Soda, I thought that Don & Stevie was before Joe & Stevie. I will look up the threads when I have time to read them through.

Yes, an affair with a married guy, is usually not all it's cracked up to be. Maybe if Joe was more available, it would have had a better outcome.

Lucy just posted this on FB - it's very sweet:

I'm happy that it's being mentioned that Joe was married during the time that Stevie talks about him being the "greatest love of her life". I think people thought Joe was being insensitive about Stevie on the Howard Stern show. However, I think he was just trying to show some respect to his then wife, mother of Lucy. I also thought it was Stevie who was being a bit insensitive talking about her affair with a married man.

She appears on the song "For the Children" from Tell Me the Truth. Very sweet of her to thank him!
