Remembering this beautiful soul we were so blessed to share this world with, who left us far too soon. Much love sent up to you, Glenn, always.

    RIP Glenn.

I remember the day the news came across our TV. I'll say that at the time I wasn't the biggest fan of Glenn at that time. I had a different perspective on the Felder issue and was upset with what I saw on the HOTE doc. But when that news came on, I was absolutely and utterly wrecked. I started bawling then and there. Then I remember that night watching Keith Urban do Take It Easy on a piano on social media and the piano made me cry again. It was the hardest a "celebrity" death had ever hit me. Since that time my opinions have changed and I realized I was in the wrong and I found a huge respect for Glenn always doing what was best for the band and the fact that he was the MVP. No more drama and the guys truly enjoyed playing together again. I wish I had been a better fan while Glenn was still here, but I'm glad to have realized that he seemed like a kind man but also one that took running the band seriously and it was a business and I realized that a band can't always be truly democratic. I'm so very fortunate to have seen him with the band twice, once on the LROOE tour and once on the HOTE tour. I went from floor tickets at the very back for LROOE to having tickets for HOTE where I was in the first couple rows. I think I was second row, but I honestly cannot remember but I know I was close. I feel like Glenn was an everyday man and one you could have a beer or a conversation with. I wish I had got to meet all of the guys. They are heroes. I really miss the idea that the band could have done another tour. I have 0 interest in any Eagles without Glenn (or Don for that matter). But if I say I wish I had got to see them one more time with Glenn, I think of the people who never got to and it makes me more grateful I did.

Well - first of all, I know I am terribly late in acknowledging the 9th anniversary of Glenn's passing. I was unable to post anything the week of the anniversary, so I purposely decided to wait until today to post here. Today is the anniversary of the first time I met Glenn at Pebble Beach in 2007. To say the least, it was an exhilarating and unforgettable experience that I will cherish for all of my days. It far surpassed any expectations I could have ever imagined. I found out that the man that I already had so much admiration for was a wonderful person as well. There were many memorable moments and that was just Day One. Here is the autograph I got that day, and the day ended with a kiss on the cheek for me, Soda, and PLS.

Glenn, there is hardly a day that goes by that I don't think of you. Thank you for all that you were and for the many gifts you left to this world.
