Sitting in the auditorium for Current Issues. All the seniors are required to take this class. Each teacher gives a lecture. So it's one period and all seniors. Arab Spring is today's topic.

Next period is American lit which I have an F but it is only one assaignment so I have all the HW in. Good thing it's only the third week

Got very good news yesterday that I finally qualify for financial aid for my college and now will be able to take more classes again each semester and hopefully graduate next fall. I used to have to always put down my parents information and that always worked against me, but now I finally aged out to be considered an independent student. This helps so much as I was only taking one class a semester (or less) as that's all I could afford and to avoid student loans. Just such a great relief now and that I can finally work towards graduating soon.
