    Default Funny item about Hotel California

    Okay, stick with me for a moment while I try to explain the following. About a year ago I bought this book called Mountain Man Dance Moves: The McSweeney's Book of Lists. It was a compilation of humorous lists that were submitted to a web site called http://www.mcsweeneys.net/links/lists/. I can't adequately explain the site, but just suffice it to say that some of the lists that people submit are hilarious. The following, of course, was one of my favorites. I hope you get a kick out of it as well...

    I'm glad you guys enjoyed it. I think my favorite line is

    "Acquire steelier knives and/or less resolute beast"

    That one just makes me laugh out loud every time I read it. And what makes the whole list even funnier now is that, just an hour or so ago, I read the part in the book To the Limit that talks about Don's penchant for letter-writing (including the toilet paper missive). I can now imagine him writing a letter outlining these complaints!

    This is totally cute. Another fav of mine is "Encourage nightman to be less cryptic when talking to guests". Love that one!
