It's what I thought of when you wrote "if he smiled at me like that..."
We wouldn't be able to handle that look in real life, we'd hit the dirt!
Note to Glenn Frey devotees, especially those who attended his show at the Wiltern Theatre: the "Beat is Back" special that Dawn cleverly found was filmed there. There are some nice interior shots of the grand old place, including one just after Randy's song finishes. It's so! huge!
I thought the 1973 ABC broadcast was the Don Kirshner show. I guess not? I'll add in the Central Park, too, thanks.
Thank you x100 for this! I had no idea of its existence. I didn't know there was such an interest in 70s music in the early 90s. No wonder the Eagles reunion the next year took off. Randy looks and sounds great here.

Nicely done, D. There were 2 Don Kirshner appearances?
Don't forget the PM Magazine show. Wouldn't it be great if more of - any of! - these rare appearances turn up somewhere soon.
Is this appearance accounted for?

Thank you. According to setlist.com there was a 2nd appearance on the DK Rock Concert in L.A. I think there's where the mix-up with the '73 ABC-TV show came from.
NMB, I'm not familiar with the PM Magazine appearance--was that an interview? I'll go ahead and add it.
That was from the Nashville Now performance. Thanks for the link.
